The space This is an open space cottage, where the kitchen is well equipped so all you need to bring is your groceries. The bathroom has a shower and a blow dryer. Our newly built second home is located in Útey 2, by the Laugarvatn Lake. Útey 2 used to be an old farm and is around 720 acres (320 hectares) and have been in the family for generations. Most of the south side of Lake Laugarvatn is part of the land so you can have complete privacy. You can take a long walks in private, go paddling in our double seated canoe, relax in the hottub with tens of km. of unobstructive view, watch the birdlife and even try your luck fishing for trout.

A peaceful cottage on a small hiltop with a great view overlooking lake Apavatn where there is much birdlife (you maight be able to see ducks, loons or swans from the patio). The house is stylish and newly renovated. There are two spacious bedrooms plus a sleeping sofa. The view from the hut tub is amazing.
