(Sleeping place for 6 good friends.) Good cabin to stay in, warm and cosy. Good to have as a base because there is short drive to Reykjavik(80 km), south and west side of Iceland. Short drive to nature of the South: Golden Circle, Waterfall Faxi, Seljalandsfoss, Skógarfoss, glacier, mountains, lakes and rivers.

Eyvindartunga farm cottage - renewable energy

This charming family cottage is close to many of the natural wonders in the South of Iceland, the "Golden Circle". Like many old traditional farms in Iceland, Eyvindartunga is a sheep farm. Fourth generation lives on the farm, with ewes who roam freely with their lambs during summer. Since the year 1929 we have been harnessing the river Sandá, producing now annually ca. 5 GWh of electrical energy for both the farm itself and the nearby area, including the nearby village Laugarvatn.

This rental is for two separate houses: Each house has 2 rooms and full bathrooms with showers so 4 rooms total for up to 9 people.. Location is on a large private land far from other houses. Outside there is geothermal hot tub always on. Fully equipped kitchen, and outside BBQ. Located on the Golden Circle near Geysir. Great for outdoor hiking to amazing places and great dark spot in the winter for Northern Lights viewing. A 4x4 is important to access the house in the winter.

The wifi conects to a smart-tv , the tv has an open account for our gests on amozon prime tv also you can login on your netflix acount or just youtube. Free washer and dryer. The scenary is beautiful and picturesque. The house is in the middel of the golden circle and is a great place to stay and be clouse to all the biggest attractions in the south part of Iceland.

Small cottage in south of Iceland. Only 30 minute drive to many of the most amazing nature resorts on Iceland such as Gullfoss, Geysir and Thingvellir. The cottage consist one bedroom and a sleeping loft, living room with a sleeping sofa, dining area, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower. Oddsstaðir is perfectly located for exploring West-Iceland and the Golden circle. We offer shorter private tours on horseback. Peaceful area with a nice view.
