We had a fantastic stay at Norbert and Sabine's. They were friendly, helpful, responsive and gave great advice on local markets and villages. We ordered a Vietnamese meal from Norbert and it was delicious! A couple of our favorite things were simply walking around the region and, at 11:00 pm, all street lights went off and we could see the Milky Way and Big Dipper from our window! We found Norbert and Sabine's place a peaceful launching point to exploring the Lot. The apartment is perfect for a couple looking for a getaway. The hosts are the epitome of the best side of Airbnb. A really charming house in beautiful gardens in the woods - our family had a wonderful, peaceful week here. The house is full of character with the rustic historic fabric complemented by the decor - we enjoyed that the place was obviously a well-loved home with the owners’ books and art all around. The kitchen had everything we needed for some serious family cooking to eat on the lovely outdoor tables, the kids loved playing in the big terraced gardens and the hammocks, the garden is thoughtfully planted and well looked after (albeit leading into some rough meadow and woodland beyond) and the pool and its deck catch the afternoon sun perfectly. Very cozy and clean and with a fenced private garden. Beautiful surroundings, quiet and in the countryside. Sweet, helpful hosts with 2 cute, quiet dogs. A place I definitely want to come back to!
