Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Blair County

Tracy was a proactive communicator and immediately responded to any questions. The house was extremely neat, clean, and uncluttered. The kitchen was quite well equipped compared to the many AirBnBs in which we have stayed.

We had a wonderful weekend here. They had lots of beds to accommodate our large family, including plenty of pillows and blankets. And lots of towels and wash cloths, too. All the appliances were top notch quality and performance. Loved the Blackstone griddle. The hot beverage corner had plenty of options to choose from. We loved the historic feel of the inn and how hard they worked to maintain the character. Our children loved the library and the foosball/air hockey tables in the basement. Our youth enjoyed relaxing in the living room with all the sofas. We loved all the dining spaces to enjoy our big family meals around, with an abundance of plates, cups and silverware; and plenty of cooking utensils and baking dishes to prepare meals with. And Stephanie readily responded to all my many questions! We're hoping for more occasions to stay here in the future🙂

We loved our stay. The house had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was fully stocked and the bedrooms were large. There were plenty of towels and they had extra touches all over the house that was greatly appreciated. Our whole family enjoyed our stay. We were also only 12 minutes from the beach at the lake.

The place was even nicer than the pictures! There is a special space— it looks like a nice garage from the outside, but the inside is very nicely finished! This area had plenty of space for a large group to socialize comfortably. We spent the weekend playing games and pool, sitting at the bar enjoying the large tv, and using the table for board games. The house and garage were both beautiful and spacious. The temperatures were comfortable, even though it was very cold outside. My group will definitely be booking this place again next year. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

This is a beautiful historical home that has been modernized. There is a lot of the original home that is in there (fireplaces and such) and it gives the home a glimpse into its past. It was big enough for six of us and there were things on site for the little ones yet the rooms were cozy. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and lots of things in the pantry. We loved the convenience to the local town since we were there for a family event. The location is nice and quiet so that was a huge plus for all of us. This is a nice, hidden gem in a historic town that you really don’t want to miss

It was the perfect location to celebrate Christmas with family. The property is peaceful and definitely dog friendly. Will definitely choose this location in the future.

Matt was a phenomenal host! Very responsive and helpful at all times! His cabin was like a dream come true! Felt right at home and had everything we needed for our stay! Will use him the next time we stay in State College!

Very cool historical building and area. Everything was exactly as described and expected. Erik was extremely accommodating as we had some last minute sitter issues for the kids. Would absolutely come back again. Thanks for everything!

April place was a small and cozy place within a short drive to the ski slopes. Just what we were looking for. She was also extremely responsive and nice as we first had a hard time finding the right unit.

A very beautiful place. Perfect for a couple.. we stayed for a day as we were passing over. Wish we could have planned for longer stay. It’s very clean and comfortable..

This condo is really cute and has great natural light. We stayed as a family of four with our dogs so it was a bit crammed but if you're skiing all day, it's all you need! It's nice the place is well stocked with the basics so you don't have to worry about bringing those.

I switched here after a very stressful trip at a near by hotel and was so very relieved we found this air bnb, it was quiet and comfy and I could finally relax! deff recommend and super friendly and accommodating host!

She has been great to communicate with! Very great all around.

We have been going there for 5 years now and look forward to next year which we already booked. My family enjoys the place and our family lives in the area.

Location, ambience inside and out, roominess, cleanliness, decor, and price are outstanding for this Blue Knob house. All 7 of us had plenty of space and the laundry, deck, parking, street quietness were all above and beyond. Modern appliances combined with the colors and pictures and furnishings to give that ski mountain getaway, yet elegant feel. Don't hesitate to check it out. Thanks!

We were looking for a cozy, private, serene spot to rest and recharge after busy days of visiting family while in town for the holidays. We hit the "zen" lottery with this beautiful, cozy, warm cabin in such a beautiful natural area. The warmth (physical and soul) of the cabin with its heated floors (genius!), huge inviting tub for soaking, and soothing & convenient remote controlled fireplace perfectly complimented the wooded, snowy surroundings with the babbling brook just outside. We had everything we needed and couldn't have felt better cared for staying with our own family! We just left yesterday but already miss that cozy mountain hideaway!

Even better than the photos, the perfect place for a weekend getaway! Pamela was responsive and incredibly thoughtful to leave us wine and chocolates for Valentine’s Day.

Richard’s stone cottage is nestled in some of the most beautiful territory I’ve ever seen. He was lovely to deal with and made everything super easy. The cottage was decorated spectacularly, had everything I needed and was extremely clean. I arrived to the cottage after 10pm and Richard had basically completed a turndown service with gentle lights on, a drawer with towels nudged open, and outside lighting on. I felt right at home. The only challenges that I personally experienced were: low water pressure (understandable for the age of the building and the intricate plumbing) and the small shower (I’m 6’2 and it’s very tight, but this is a small space overall.) None of these challenges should deter you from staying at this property. If you’re in central rural PA, this historic accommodation should absolutely be at the top of your list! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Richard - thank you so much for the last minute hospitality. I was in desperate need of a solo retreat and the “Little Cabin” was the perfect place for that. It was clean, very comfortable and scenic. I stayed a week and the Cabin was stocked properly for my stay. I am definitely looking forward to returning soon.

The cabin in Saxton was a great home away from home for our family to meet for Thanksgiving this year. The place was comfortable and warm with all of the wood and coordinating decor, and the small touches by the hostess (recommendations, toiletries, etc.) showed her attention to detail and ensuring we were comfortable during our stay. When we had to reach out to Kacie for something, she was quick to respond (even on Thanksgiving day) and willing to help if needed.
