Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Blackburn with Darwen

Hi Coral, We've had such a fabulous stay in your beautiful home. Greatly appreciated all the space from the lovely cosy living room, gorgeous kitchen/dining space with the pool/table tennis. The bedrooms were just ideal too. All of the beds had drawers to provide extra clothes storage, as did the main bathroom/ensuite for toiletries. Very clever/useful. Your garden is beautiful & the resident squirrels made us smile. We'll definitely be looking to book a return visit!

My son and his family stayed at Andrew’s property while they were visiting us from Australia. It is a fabulous property. Clean, comfortable and, with the log burner going, very cosy. Very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Very comfy beds and the little ones loved the bunk beds. Lots of little extras including books, games, logs for the fire and even a BBQ. Ideally situated with shops, cafes and the local market all within walking distance. The railway station is nearby and and the M6 less than 5 minutes drive. Andrew responded to a couple of minor queries almost immediately. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending and would definitely use again.

Lovely place to stay was just unsure on the central heating but we switched it to auto and it came on at 6am didn’t really no how to use it shop nearby for all ur essential bits will definitely stay again thanks Carrie x

We had a wonderful if short stay at Lindsay’s lovely house. The views of Winter Hill are incredible so lovely to sit and watch the sun go down from the conservatory. The house is clean and Lindsay has thought of everything - so many nice little touches that make you feel very welcome. Lindsay is very friendly and efficient we had a small problem and she fixed it immediately . I also started off on the wrong foot by booking the wrong dates but Lindsay went above and beyond to sort it out.

We had a great 10 night stay. The house had everything a family could need including everything for a baby like a gate for the stairs, high chair, cot and baby bath. The house also had lots of games and toys perfect for a rainy day. The kitchen had all the appliances you need to cook food for a family of four including herbs and spices and a dishwasher. As well as a great washing machine, dryer and ironing board with all soap and detergents provided. There were plenty of towels, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and hand soap was provided as well as cleaning supplies. Most importantly house was cosy and warm all the time despite the cold weather. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and the owners were very polite and quick to respond. Highly recommend!!!

We had a great time at Carol’s. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. Carol was so friendly and the extras that she provided were so appreciative. Carol provided fresh milk, jams, eggs and a delicious lemon drizzle cake along with a chocolate on our beds. The extras included were extensive. Carol certainly goes above and beyond. We also met their gorgeous dog Wilson We highly recommend Carol’s and Colin’s place,such a friendly couple Thank you Carol and Colin

We had a wonderful few days at Helen and Frank’s place. We felt really at home and enjoyed everything about our stay: the beautiful cottage, the comfy bed, the spacious wet room, the welcoming notes, the provisions, the outside space, Moggy May, Percy, the cockerel, sorry AND Percy’s mum, and of course, Helen and Frank themselves. We had a totally relaxing few days, enjoyed fantastic days out at the beach at Formby, RHS Garden Bridgewater and, on Helen’s recommendation, a great day at Lytham St Anne’s, walking on the beach and playing crazy golf. Had an excellent meal at the Cavendish Arms and great takeaway pizza from the place just down the road. Would thoroughly recommend😃

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay while visiting the country for the first time. Great place to unwind after a busy day sightseeing and attending the local event that brought us to the area. Location was convenient and we found it very easy to get around by car. Amazing views to top it off.

Looove this place! We have been a few times and always find ourselves coming back! So much to do around here but also perfect for just a chill as it is so quiet and calm! ☺️

I really enjoyed my stay at Jaz's place she was very warm and friendly and made me feel most welcome. Her place is very private in a quiet neighbourhood. It has excellent facilities with a boutique feel, a home away from home Its highly recommended

Lovely spacious ground floor apartment in a gated Georgian Building full of character. I stayed with a female friend and we felt safe and secure at all times and the bonus of parking for two cars is a rare find in Clitheroe. The welcome goods on arrival plus milk in the fridge were a nice touch too. I am familiar with Clitheroe as I shop there but have never stayed overnight but would do again definitely as there are lots of good places to eat and drink such as Holmes Mill, The Emporium and Wills Restaurant to name but a few. Also some nice independent shops too. My friend is from Scotland and she cant wait to return. There are also several excellent restaurants a short drive from Clitheroe too. The Ribble Valley offers lots to explore and some great scenery. Well worth a visit is the Melt Candle company in Waddington which is a ten minutes drive away. Tina is a great host and happy to help with anything and keeps in touch with you. I would definitely recommend you stay here.

Lovely place to stay in Preston. Will definitely choose this place again if we go back. Lisa was responsive, helpful and accommodating with our early check in. Five stars!

The home hadn't been cleaned when we arrived but James responded immediately and it was cleaned within a half hour. James was very helpful and my son and his family had a great stay in a home from home whilst visiting from Australia . Cost was comparable to local hotels but for a longer stay much more convenient for the family, and within easy reach of local amenities and of course Pendle Hill - a highlight for my grandchildren / thank you James

Ilana is a super host, very helpful indeed and the self contained unit is perfect for a couple of nights stay over in Whitefield. Thanks for the stay!

Spacious comfortable apartment in a beautiful location

I had a great stay. Julio and Miriam were fantastic hosts. Always on hand and helpful throughout my stay. I highly recommend their place. I’d definitely stay there again. xx

Nice comfortable place, and Daniyal is incredibly helpful and quick to respond to queries. The apartment is on a quiet road in an incredibly nice part of Bolton, but just a short bus ride—it even shorter train ride—from the centre of town.

We would definitely book with you again! Perhaps we'll manage to visit my daughter's friend again, and then we'll definitely come back.

This is a return visit for us - as always, Nicola is really responsive and helpful, flexible and thoughtful. The property is perfect for our needs, clean, well-stocked and well located. A comfortable bed (we've only tried one of the two!) in a nice and spacious flat.

Most lovely stay! Place is absolutely fabulous, exceeding expectations, hospitality was incredible, had the warmest welcome from Alister who showed us round and made us feel at home. Will definitely be back would recommend to anyone who wants to book. Thanks again for all your hospitality!

Had a lovely couple of nights here, pictures don’t do the room justice! Very relaxed and everything you need in the annex. Bathroom and kitchen were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Easy going hosts and did offer us drinks, unfortunately I didn’t see the message in time. Would love to return at some point. Thanks Dave and Patricia for your hospitality :)

Amanda was a great host and very helpful during out stay

I cannot fault the communication from Donna. The suite was amazing and has everything you need with clear instructions for the appliances. The quality of the bed, bedding and pillows were exceptional. Had a slight issue getting the key out of the front door and locking our bedroom door but this was delt with immediately so it’s not a negative about this but a positive on how well and quickly Donna delt with the issue. Superb stay
