The Gardner’s Shed is self-contained with access through our well kept garden. Winterfell Cottage Bowness - Best of Both Worlds

Our home from home is cosy but with ample living space for all to spread out. Ideally situated an easy walk to the fells above but a short drive to Bowness, the best of both worlds. We love the secluded garden in summer, the sunny conservatory and open fire. Quality furnishings, towels and linens. Well equipped kitchen. Private parking 2 cars. 3 bedrooms. Max 6 incl. infants. One week min. Fri to Fri in summer school hols however please ask if not suitable, sometimes we can accommodate.

Stay at the Lake View Lodge and enjoy lovely views of Lake Windermere and its mountain backdrop. The Lake View Lodge is a self-contained, wooden lodge with access to three acres of grounds and wild meadows attracting a wonderful array of wildlife including owls, red kites, deer, foxes and woodpeckers. Enjoy a large 45 square meter space with king sized bed, double sofa bed, shower room and kitchenette. Ideally suited for up to two adults and two children or three adults.

Dorothy’s place Bowness on Windermere

Dorothy’s place is part of an 18th Century Villa. Adults only no children allowed. Everything you need for that perfect romantic break. Guests get full use of the large garden and woodland to take in the stunning view. If travelling by train our advice would be get a taxi from the station as can be difficult to find on foot . Guests are welcome to park up as early as you want before check in or drop luggage off in a safe place,but please let us know in advance.
