A private cottage on the beach in Naoshima, a sacred place for art.There are two buildings, one on the sea side and one on the mountain side, and Kai is the sea side building.You can use the free parking space on the premises, which is rare in Naoshima. The building is a separate two-story building, with 6 beds in the ground floor bedroom and up to 2 futons in the Japanese-style room on the second floor, so you can stay between 6 and 8 people. There is a family-type kitchen and washing machine, so it can be used for family and friend trips, as well as for student training camps and seminar trips. It is a 3-minute walk from OHANA to Kikaburi, and a 2-minute walk from the nearest bus stop, making it an ideal base for sightseeing while staying in Naoshima. Enjoy a relaxing time on Naoshima in a room that uses plenty of wood from a local carpenter. Each blends naturally, and the air flows in a way that can only be experienced in Naoshima. You'll feel it even more by staying on Naoshima. Sakura-so opened in the summer of 2014. It is a guest house with a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere. 5-minute walk from the center of Naoshima's Miyanoura. It is located in a very quiet place. In particular, I recommended this egg sauna, which was carefully created in the shape where the heat circulates naturally.All of this is handmade (DIY)!Feel the heat of the wood stove in the sauna and the creative heat of JP. You can also enjoy pot and fish skewers in the fireplace that was revived with DIY.All ingredients will be brought in, so please buy them at a nearby supermarket before coming. The place is an area called "Koya", a mountain alley in Misaku City, Okayama Prefecture.I think it would be interesting to stop by Nishisaokura Village, which is popular with the rural resident village, which is just around the corner.

Here we are proud to offer the feeling of Japan in a comfortable private whole house; the beauty of tatami, earthen walls, sliding doors, tile and washi (Japanese paper). The Uno port ferry is 3 min by nearby train (14 by EA bike) so we serve as an ideal gateway to the Inland Sea islands, including of course Naoshima, Teshima and Inujima.

Haus2354: 5 minutes walk to Ieura Port

Haus2354 is within 5 minutes walking distance from Ieura Port, the main gateway of the island. It is also very close to Teshima Yokoo House and is in the area where you can find small shops and eating places. Haus2354 is a Japanese style house with Japanese style floor bedding, and we rent out a whole house during your stay. There are direct boats from Teshima to Shodoshima, Naoshima and Inujima. This place could be your base for island hopping considering its good access to the port.
