Take it easy at this unique and cosy cottage with a real open fire and original beams. The cottage was constructed in approximately 1750 during the reign of George II. The cottage is constructed from wood and stone and there is not a straight wall, ceiling or door casing in the house! You learn very fast (after banging your head once or twice) to duck under the low door frames and beams. The cottage is small, quirky and very cosy but with a suprisingly large master bedroom and bathroom.

Our wonderfully unique tiny home ‘Little Oak’ situated within an acre of woodland and on the edge of the Heswall Dales nature reserve, it really is a special place and the perfect place to explore our beautiful area with incredible walks on our doorstep. We’re an outdoorsy family of 5+3 rescue dogs and having lived in the cabin ourselves we can vouch that’s it’s as comfy and homely as it is quirky and cool. Set on the edge of a private woodland, this cozy and comfortable log cabin is a perfect place for a relaxing get away. There is no wi-fi so an ideal place to switch off and enjoy. It is located on the boarder between Wales and England and is close to many places including Llangollen, Chester, Snowdonia and Liverpool. Parking is available in our large driveway and The Cabin is just a 2 minute walk from there. The Cabin is private and has it's own enclosed garden area with a fire pit.
