Monthly Rentals in Birgu

We had a wonderful few days staying at The Emerald Nook. A very beautiful, spotlessly clean, stylish and comfortable property in a peaceful part of Birgu, close to the harbour and connections to Valetta, but away from the noise and bustle. We loved sitting on the roof terrace; either with a coffee in the morning, or with a glass of wine in the early evening, listening to the church bells in the distance. We would not hesitate in booking here again. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and responded to any queries promptly. We have no hesitation in highly recommending this gem of a property.

We were group od 6 (4 adults and 2 children) and visited Malta on April. Apartment was excellent as it was described. Carlos and Zoltan were always available for us and replayed fast. Entering is with key in safe but Carlos was waiting for us. Some complimentary friut and wine was there. Apartment has 3 bedrooms, living room and 2 bathrooms with beds for 5 people and 1 extra bed. View from the living room is to the marina and it is great. Kitchen is well equiepped but we didn't use it. Location is good, nearby is place from where traditional boats can transport you to Valletta in 5 minutes. Also bus station is nearby. They let as leave our things before the time of entry and longer on the day of leaving, which we are grateful. We would definitely come again.

Beautiful historic location amongst the Auberge of the Knights of the Order of St John. Cafes and restaurants nearby but not as busy as Valletta city centre. Great apartment that easily accommodated myself and my 2 adult sons. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely FANTASTIC place to stay! We can't say enough great things about Raymond's apartment -- it overlooks the harbor and fortifications and we watched the ships coming in while we had our morning coffee on the outside balcony. It's within walking distance to everything and the public transportation is simple to learn. We went to Valletta for the afternoon (took no time at all) and because it was so packed with tourists (cruise ships and bus tours) we left after an hour to get back to Birgu. Birgu is the perfect place to be -- it's quiet, safe, and manageable, yet there is a lot to see and do. Raymond's place is perfect -- well-stocked kitchen (he left us bottled water, thank you!), comfortable bed, two balconies to relax on (all while looking at the harbor), and extremely clean. Raymond was an attentive host as well. We highly recommend his place and Birgu!!
