Beachfront holiday rental in Bilbao

José and his mother have been very kind and attentive. We have been recommended local places to eat, shop and visit. The cottage is close to beaches and has everything you need to spend a few days on vacation. The little garden where we had a barbecue, gives the house a plus. We'll definitely be back.

One of the best apartments we've ever stayed in, everything was super clean, Begoña was very nice, she recommended things to do, everything was very clear. The house had all kinds of amenities, I think it's the only place we've been where we can go in and live a normal life without having to go to a supermarket to buy basic things. We'd love to come back another time. PS: He left us 2 umbrellas ☂️ and a parasol in the apartment, ⛱️ which was a luxury, as well as some beach chairs.

Beautiful location - reminded me of a Cornish fishing village. Great bars, views across the bay, watching the surfers, and a beach. You can drive to Bilbao in 35 mins, San Sebastián in just over an hour. Mundaca is just a great base to explore northern Spain, Miren is a great host and was always really helpful (we even left the key in the door and she went and sorted it for us! Highly recommend

Great location and same as shown in the photos. The apartment is small but clean, well-organised, and has everything you need. Hosts were friendly, responsive, and very accommodating, they even met us late at night to hand over the keys. Ideal base for a surf trip with space to store boards and dry wetsuits.

Juan’s place was perfect, we could not fault it. We had two small kids, with a stroller and found it easily accessible by lift. We rented a mid-sized car and were able to use the car park without too much hassle. Juan and Paula were super friendly and helpful throughout. The location was fantastic for exploring Bilbao, while also offering a quieter neighbourhood and beaches nearby. The apartment was spotless and cosy, with beautiful views and the double bed was the most comfortable we have slept in! 100% recommend.

great stay, very clean and tidy. Jesus and his wife came to great us and go through everything. Very friendly and helpful, great hosts highly recommended.

Paul was a very helpful & communicative host, he was proactive & gave us many tips of what to do & eat in the town. If you are looking for somewhere to stay that is largely off the tourist trail you could do worst than to stay at Paul's accommodation. This is a town where you can see real Basque people living authentic lives & not just another tourist trap.

Jabi is an amazing host! The apartment was clean, spacious and the perfect size for family of 5! He left us a basket of fruit and stocked the kitchen with essentials- milk, juice, coffee, olive oil, salt and pepper! He even left us potatoes so I was able to make tortilla de patatas! Communication with Jabi was excellent and was quick to respond to our texts. There were a few restaurants nearby and the beach is less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Highly recommend staying here and will definitely come back.

This is an apartment of superlatives! Very tastefully converted and furnished with an incredible view of the sea and harbour. However, you have to work for this apartment: three narrow, steep stairs up with the luggage (!) but it is worth it. A culinary high-end restaurant at the harbour. Check-in also worked out great.

12 of us stayed with Mari Luz and had a great time. Everyone was comfortable and felt at home for the 4 nights we were there. At first I was worried that we might disturb Mari Luz but we didn't receive any complaints despite 1 or 2 late nights drinking around the dinner table. Also I'm extremely glad we stayed in Castro Urdiales instead of Bilbao since Castro was a much more relaxing and hospitable place and Bilbao was only a 30 min bus away anyway.

José Ramón's house is a great place to enjoy a few days of rest and beach! It has everything you could need, the beds are very comfortable (which, together with the tranquility of the area, makes your rest perfect), it has a wonderful garden and, in addition, everything could not be cleaner! The location is very convenient to be able to walk anywhere, but far from the area that can be more bustling (now everything was super quiet) and having the garage is another great advantage so you don't have to worry about the car. And, in addition to all this, José Ramón is a great man. Thank you very much for everything! P.S. If you're going with kids (or even if you're not :-D), the beaches on the island are another great plus!

Great stay at Estíbaliz's apartment. Excellent apartment, with all the necessary accessories, comfortable in new condition, and very clean when we arrived . Excellent welcome from Estíbaliz, when we arrive to give us all the necessary explanations, and respond almost instantly to our messages, whether in writing or having it on the phone Very thoughtful, whenever we ask for information, and anything else . The location very well located, and the parking just under the apartment is locked . Another nice thing is a supermarket next door . All located Very close to downtown and beaches. We'll be back without hesitating.

The host is very friendly and helpful!There are many shops near the house, and it is close to the beach!The house is on the 5th floor with an elevator, not only that, we want to praise the host's hospitality, we love the variety of coffee machines, it's very convenient and meets everyone's needs.

A lovely place for a week vacation! Super central and close to the beach. Free parking a 5 min walk away, couldn’t ask for more. And, Hegoi is super responsive and a very helpful host! Highly recommend.

excellent place to stay. 10 minute walk to the station. local beaches. food shop near by. would recommend a Barik travel card for metro and buses.

this was honestly one of the best stays I have ever had. If you are a solo traveler, this is the perfect nest with an incomparable view and a wonderful host. It's a great place right in the heart of things, and just a couple of minutes from the beach. Climb up to this perfect attic with views of the bay like no other. It is pure magic.

The location of the apartment is great and Laura is charming. The pool is clean, the only problem is to park on weekends since the car doesn't fit in the garage

A very nice, modernly furnished apartment, overlooking the harbour. The equipment was very good and offers everything you need. The apartment is centrally located, restaurants and shops are very close.

It was a wonderful stay. Everything was as stated, clean and very homely. Jaione was also very friendly and always easy to reach. She had helpful tips for us and made our holiday more enjoyable.
