This beautiful and completely private, romantic chalet, with a view, in the middle of nature, is facing south. It is located right near the river Almache. Located at one and a half kilometers on each side, are 2 typical villages, 2 sub-municipalities of Daverdisse : Porcheresse and Gembes. From here you can also easily go to Bouillon, Dinant, Le Tombeau Du Géant, the bookstore Redu, Givet, etc. Nearby you can find various types of restaurants : from very ordinary, where you can walk in with your slippers or boots, to a Michelin star. The chalet is very easily accessible and is still located in the middle of nature. You can take beautiful walks in the forests and/or in the sun as soon as you step outside the door. For mountain bikers, too, it is a true paradise here with the many marked routes. The chalet itself is cozy and also everything is available to cook for a delicious and cozy and make it a romantic evening, by the fireplace or the fire bowl outside under an incredible starry sky. De-stressing, enjoyment, nature, relaxation, conviviality and romance are the key words here.

Our family of 7 has had a very pleasant time with Frederica and Philibert. Each of the 4 bedrooms has its own bathroom and one also has a toilet in the bedroom. The other 3 bedrooms share 2 toilets. The kitchen is modern and contains all the necessities to prepare an extensive meal, which we did not do because there are countless restaurants in the area. We had breakfast on the spacious terrace by the outdoor kitchen. The host and hostess were extremely helpful and attentive. Le chateau des Fayais is 100% recommended! Thank you very much Philibert and Frederica!

If you are looking for a cozy weekend retreat in the Belgian Ardennes, look no further. Me and my girlfriend spent a lovely long weekend here. Communication with the host was easy and fast. We also had a lot of privacy because the rest of the building was unoccupied at the time. The cottage is thoughtfully decorated and has a very authentic yet original style. It has a nice big wood oven which adds to the romantic atmosphere. In winter the place does take a while to warm up because of the authentic thick stone walls. Be sure to check out this listing. You will have fun!

Very nice cottage with plenty of rooms, spacious living space and pleasant garden. Our first impression was also immediately 'wow, nice house'. The pool table is a great asset and was used daily. The neighborhood is also beautiful. We took a walk in the woods behind the cottage, did the famous 'ladder walk', kayaked on the Semois and visited the castle of Bouillon. Thanks to the many options nearby, this was one of the best weekends we did with the group of friends. The only downside is that the bbq is a bit small for a house of 15 people.

A house with a private garden in a peaceful, quiet, uncrowded neighborhood. Both the village and the nearby town have an impressive layout. We were only able to stay one night due to our schedule. I'd love to stay a few days, enjoy the town, walk by the river, and spend time in the woods. We stayed with 3 adults and a baby. Two couples can easily stay at home. You can even stay with your grandparents, parents and 1-4 children, 8 people :)) There is a table where you can eat in the garden. It will be invaluable to work with the computer or chat with an evening coffee here (of course, if there are no flies :) ) Since the house is on the slope of the valley, the sun begins to enter the house strongly after a while. In the afternoon, the sun goes down, but the light continues for a long time. Electric heaters (convector heaters) in the house provide effective heating. The hot water tank allows 3 people to shower comfortably. It can also accommodate 4-5 people. (P) at the bottom of the glass
