Within 30 min of Frankfort/Lk Michigan, Traverse City , Beulah/Crystal Lake, & approx 20 min from Interlochen Music Camp. Lakes & the Betsie River surround the area, making fishing and boating easily accessible. The BRLC is a nonsmoking property with a full house generator/new baby gear on sight.

The well appointed upper level kitchen opens to the dining/living area, all with lovely views of the woods, and some seasonal peeks of Crystal Lake. For privacy, there is a bed/bath on each level. Our Milk Chocolate suite is a large 1 bedroom apartment located above our gelato shop in Empire, Mi! From it's large breezy balcony, you can sip coffee and plan a Leelanau adventure. The apartment is decorated in a colorful mid-century modern style. The bedrooms and living room both have smart tvs. There's a full kitchen stocked with the essentials and we provide toiletries and beach towels/blanket/chairs. It's a great base camp to explore the area and just a few blocks from Empire beach!

This home has a beautiful wood fireplace and the floors are hardwood: black locust, cherry, red oak, white oak, and black walnut. The house has radiant heat in the floors to make these floors a pleasure to walk in the winter even without socks!
