Situated in the centre of the quaint village of Chevrieres next to the impressive old Catholic Church, this off-street location provides an ideal base for exploring the surrounding towns of Chantilly, Senlis and Compiègne. A local grocery store and award-winning bakery are less than 50 metres from the house (+ pharmacy + bank)

The refuge is located: 1 hour from Paris, 20 minutes from Compiègne, 1.5 hours from Lille

The unexpected

In the very center, this charming house is ideally located in front of the lake, at the foot of the majestic castle and its restaurants. It consists of an equipped kitchen and a living room with a 2-seater sofa bed. Upstairs you will have a nice bedroom with a king size bed, a dressing room and a bathroom. Coffee, tea and spices are available. Large quiet terrace. At the gates of the state forest of Compiègne, come and recharge your batteries and enjoy the many activities.

"La Compta" Accommodation

The Gîte Van G offers the "la compta" space, an atypical NON-SMOKING furnished accommodation of about 41 m2 on one level. It has free private parking. The accommodation was created in a former office building (accounting department). With its double bed and sofa bed, the space can accommodate 2 or even 3 people. It is ideal for a couple with a child, or for two people, each wanting a bed. For a larger group, see my 2nd accommodation.

The Green

Welcome to Vertoit (3-star furnished tourist accommodation), nice atypical furnished accommodation located between Soissons and Compiègne. On a quiet street you will enjoy the garden (terrace with deckchairs) and direct access to the woods (swing and forest table are at your disposal). Pierrefonds Castle is 20 km towards Compiègne and its forest, Soissons is 17 km away (beautiful cathedral), Eurodysney and Paris are 1 hour away.
