My guest house consists of a bedroom and a wood-burning sauna. Lovely altar and outdoor shower. In the cabin of 15 sqm there is a toilet, sink, fridge, microwave, crockery, coffee press and kettle for easier cooking. On the deck there is a gas grill. Wonderful waterfront views. Sun all day and magical sunsets. Suitable for two people, and if you appreciate sauna and swimming, this will be perfect. Located on the island of Tranholmen where you can get via ferry 80 from Ropsten, 1/11-15/4 via footbridge from Stocksund.

The location is great to explore Stockholm. Quiet, charming area, only 15-20 min walk to Stureplan in the city center and great communications nearby. Also very close to Djurgården and parks Humlegården and Hagaparken. The studio apartment has its own entrance and consists of a spacious hallway, bedroom and bathroom. I stayed 3 weeks at Jahan’s, it was perfect. Jahan’s apartment has everything you need, it’s easily accessible from the central station and there is a grocery store a minute away. Jahan is an amazing host, really kind, he respects your privacy but also makes you feel at home. Though he doesn’t speak English and I don’t speak Swedish, the communication between us was easy using translation apps. Jahan will communicate you all the indications you need for your stay and if you want to talk more with him, don’t hesitate, he’s a very talkative and funny host and you could speak of everything with him. I can only recommend to stay at Jahan’s, I really enjoyed my stay there, from the apartment to the host, and if I have to come to Stockholm again, I will definitely come back there.

Peaceful place and in the heart of nature, Karin welcomes you in a typically Swedish atmosphere. The accommodation has all the comforts and accessories necessary to make your stay pleasant and if you are lucky, you will even come across a young deer in front of your door while you are only 25 minutes from the heart of Stockholm by public transport.

We had a lovely 5 day stay at Nina and Bjorn’s place . Very comfortable and as advertised. About 30 -40 minutes to the centre of Stockholm . Regular local bus and good connections to the Metro . Lovely local beach to walk around . So many things to see in Stockholm and the archipelago. Nina and Bjorn were excellent hosts . We hope to return. Lidingo a nice island.

Family Friendly Villa close to City and Sea

We loved our stay at Henrik's house. We felt so at home right away! The house was light-filled and airy with plenty of space for kids and a family of 5. It had the charm of a turn-of-the-century home, but just the right amount of modern updates where it counts. Our children loved the big yard with the trampoline and we grilled out almost every night. We really felt like we were living there. :) The area is so lovely. It's green with parks everywhere and a quick walk to the water. There's a grocery store at the end of the street and a bus stop that takes you to the train into town. We used public transit but ended up renting a car because our small children were easier to get in and out of the city that way. But they have an electric car plug-in which was great! Theres a lot I could say but it suffices to say that we'd recommend Henrik's house to others and we really hope to stay there again in the future. Thank you, Henrik and family, for your lovely home and hospitality!

It's the first time I booked a room and not the whole house and Janna made us feel at home. She was perfect in everything. The place is extremely clean and very well located (you can easily reach every place in Stockholm). It is near to bus and metro stops, supermarkets, restaurants, a super bakery, a wonderful park if you like running, walking or going around by bike. Strongly recommended and her dog Jazz is a real treasure!

The place was clean, cozy, and just as described. Liang was friendly and easy to communicate with. I really appreciated being able to store my luggage before check-in and after check-out - it made my travel so much easier.
