The ski slopes in Skalet can be reached in a few minutes by car where there is ample parking. Fully-equipped kitchen and dining table for 8 people, two high chairs are available to borrow. NOTE! The lodge is located near Storhogna M where there is a restaurant, ski rental, self-service grocery store and bowling. 2 km away is the mountain hotel with spa and more restaurants.

The location is optimal for those who seek variety and want to go to different places during their stay as it is about 20 minutes to both Bruksvallarna and Fjällnäs. There are mountain biking trails below the area towards Funäsdalen/Bruksvallarna. It is about 30 minutes (2,5km) to walk to Funäsdalens Centrum. Charge the electric car by the house, cook in the new kitchen and enjoy with a view of the mountains.
