We love the place and it’s close to the town centre. The house is so relaxing and thr playground in the backyard is a wee paradise for kids. Would recommend for sure!

Our stay at Lake Tekapo was absolutely wonderful, thanks to this fantastic Airbnb. The owner clearly takes pride in their property – it was spotless, stylishly decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Definitely highly recommended.

A beautiful home with a truly spectacular view!! It felt so peaceful to sit in front of the fireplace and just look out over the lake. It was more than enough space for the 5 of us to really relax. Hot tub was a great bonus!

Great location to stay at when travelling between Christchurch and Queenstown - the unit was spacious and very well maintained and host was very responsive, will definitely stay again!

Jolie’s place is wonderful, we absolutely loved our stay and the dumping of snow prior to our stay made for a “Winter Wonderland” ❄️ We felt right at home straight away, and sitting in the lounge looking at the view with the fire going was magic. Jolie’s communication was great 😊

We had a wonderful stay at Jan’s place. We loved all of the details and the interesting art, books and furniture. It felt really homely and there were lots of helpful and thoughtful touches. The beds were all really comfortable with lovely fresh linen. Jan was an incredible host who really made sure that our stay was enjoyable. She was accommodating with a few last minute changes and always responded to messages promptly. We will definitely be booking a stay at Jans the next time we are in Otematata.

Rustic Feels! Near the main tourist attractions

The room is very close to Lake Tikapo. The room is clean and tidy. The information booklets in the room are beautiful. I will stay here again next time.

Gaye was friendly and responsive. We arrived early and he was flexible and allowed us to check in early. This was our last night before heading back to Christchurch. It was a restful stay.

I need to get the host's consent before booking. Before booking, I sent a message to the host that my wife and I are taking my mother and daughter to the South Island of New Zealand. I only booked and paid after the host agreed. Because this was the first time we booked a room in New Zealand through the Airbnb App, we used to stay in a hotel. When operating the App, I did not notice that the number of guests in the system showed 1 person. I neglected to change it. On the day of check-in, the host sent me a message, and I found out. I thought that I had sent a message to the host before booking to confirm that 4 of us were staying on the island, and that would solve the problem. I didn't know that I had to pay an additional 35 US dollars. In the future, I will be more cautious when booking a room on the App. Leanne's house is very comfortable, clean, quiet, and convenient to Cook Hill. I recommend it to guests who need to stay here.😊

I wished we had stayed for more than a night. My family really had a great stay at Lu Lu’s place. Lu Lu has been very accommodating and positively responsive with our inquiries. The place is very neat and cozy, complete utilities and really great for families. Only a few minutes away from Lake Tekapo with a guaranteed beautiful views outside deck. Definitely recommended and would love to go back there again.

Great place to stay and a beautiful location.

We absolutely loved our time in Tekapo at Lisa’s AirBnb! Lisa is an incredible host, provided us with so many local recommendations and got the hot tub ready for us every night, but always gave us privacy once it was ready. The hot tub was so blissful and was incredible for star gazing! We weren’t at the Airbnb much, other than for using the hot tub and sleeping so the size of it didn’t really bother us, but a heads up for others that it is quite small inside and was pretty tight for us as we both had large suitcases. I wouldn’t let the size of the Airbnb put you off though, as it’s a great Airbnb!

This was a great place to stay to explore the area. Very comfortable and super clean and warm. Kathy has thought of everything that guests would need without the place feeling cluttered. Despite being part of a complex, it was also very quiet and peaceful & felt private. A short walk from everything in Otematata.

cairnsmore apartment was a brilliant little place to stay, it had everything you could need for a break at tekapo.walind distance to the shops and restaurants, very peaceful area and beautiful scenery, lake tekapo homes were very easy to deal with and helpful when needed .we will definitely book here when we return to tekapo in fact it could be our regular little get away

This was a nice little place and had everything, even a heater which was much needed since it was snowing. Only a short drive to the lake and all the restaurants. Highly recommend for anyone who’s in lake Tekapo for a few days, would love to stay here again.

We had a lovely stay, everything was as described and the apartment was spacious and it was easy to go to the eatery next door for dinner.

I had the most peaceful time spending 5 days here. The view was superb, it was peaceful enough for me to read all day and sleep. Condo was clean. Had everything you need inside. The eatery/ pub staff were friendly. Wetland walk was beautiful. Small little beautiful town. Will definitely be back for a birthday week away next year. Thank you.

We had a great experience stay in here, great location and easy to find a restaurant around main street can do by walk around 10 to 15 minutes or around 3 minutes by car.

This is my second stay here. Its a great place to come back to after a day at work. Having the pub at the front gives you options for a good meal if you don't feel like cooking it yourself
