We built the Tiny Guest House for friends and family and love sharing the space with people traveling to Bellingham. The studio is within walking distance of both WWU (1.0 mile) and downtown (0.8 miles). The Guest House is quite small (200sf), it has a queen bed in the loft and a full sized futon on the main floor. And no kitchen.
“Chris and Amy were great hosts. We were searching for a place which would be comfortable for my 16 month old daughter. I was initially a little skeptical about the futon-bed but it was very spacious and comfortable. The house overall was clean and with good amenities. The attic was very cozy and comfortable. I would recommend the place.”
Cozy guest home by Lake Whatcom. Adjacent to our home. Outdoor hot tub, in nice neighborhood but tucked into an acre of woods. Parking, and outdoor fire to enjoy. All smoking outside. You can come as late as you want. We are always available but backyard for you so you have the utmost privacy - easy check in/out. We really want you to feel like you are home! Previously certified Home Care Aid who cleans the home has professional training and thoroughly disinfects the home before each stay.
“Wow, what a gem! I’ve stayed in countless Airbnbs and this is probably my favorite. Heather was an outstanding host. The woods behind the house made for a fun, campy feel without the tent. The kitchenette has a microwave, toaster oven, and hot plate which we used to cook most of our meals while we stayed there. The hot tub and fire pit created the perfect night. We wish we could live there!”
Our home is a great place to experience Bellingham from! Our neighborhood is friendly and centrally located. Walking distance from breweries, bus line, and grocery store.
“Great value for a quiet, centrally located spot. There’s no tv but we didn’t miss it because the host provided many games and books (I haven’t read Calvin & Hobbes since I was a kid!). The only suggestion I would give is that maybe the mattress could be updated, we found both of us rolled to the middle. That said, there were so many thoughtful little touches such as toothbrushes (in packaging) if you need it, tea and coffee and pamphlets and maps for local spots. We had a great time!”
