Waterfront holiday rentals in Belize

This was my was my second time staying at the beautiful apartment. It is home away from home. Safe environment, comfortable and on the beach. It was a great pleasure. I cannot wait to return.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Nicolle’s property at Lazy Pam Suites in Placencia! The unit looked exactly how it was displayed on the pictures including the beach view! Check in and check out were a breeze. Karissa, the property manager, was extremely helpful from beginning to end. She answered all of our questions promptly and gave local recommendations for our needs. The property also included security cameras and personnel who kept watch of everyone entering and exiting the premises. They also close gates around the building late at night even though the area is already extremely safe! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again!

I really enjoyed our stay. The secluded location feel while being close to everything. Everything was exactly as advertised and the concierge type of service was much appreciated. I hope to come back and enjoy your property and Belize again, maybe sometime when it's a touch cooler. Thanks again for the wonderful stay.

We loved staying at Laura’s Place! It had everything we needed for our trip. The location was very private and being able to eat at Weezie’s cafe was a great perk! Victoria in the office was so kind and helpful. She answered all of our questions and even tracked down a fishing pole for my son to use off the dock. We loved this location and all of the amenities.

Cedric and Karyne's place was perfect for our family vacation. The place was clean and beautiful, well furnished and had everything we needed including kitchen supplies. The place is located a short walk away from a handful of restaurants and the market, which was very convenient. The hosts also put together a guest book filled with their favorites restraunts and places to visit. We rented a golf cart from the company Cedric recommended, William @ ATM, who was also very pleasant to work with. Cedric was quick to respond to our inquiries and was nice enough to arrange transportation for us to and from the ferry and accommodate our early arrival. Thanks Cedric and Karyne! We had a wonderful visit to San Pedro and will stay here again on our next visit.

We had an amazing time in Placencia at The White Turtle! The location is absolutely perfect! The caretakers Reuben, Rufina and their son Gilbert made our trip so special! Rufina kept the house absolutely spotless and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. Reuben set up our tours and we had the most amazing time snorkeling, fishing and visiting waterfalls. Reuben knows his stuff! I highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed.

Have stayed with Sue several times, it’s a great place to stay, it’s on the water, great view and breeze and Sue is a great host, communicates well, place is clean and comfortable and you feel very safe and secure. Great pool is added bonus!! Will stay at Sue Casa again!

Title: A Perfect Waterfront Getaway! I recently stayed at this beautiful waterfront condo and it exceeded all my expectations! The modern amenities made our stay incredibly comfortable, and the multiple pools overlooking the beach and ocean were absolutely heavenly. The resort features two fantastic restaurant options, both offering delicious meals with stunning views. We also indulged in the spa facilities, which were top-notch, providing a perfect way to unwind after a day in the sun. The condo is impeccably maintained, and we were pleasantly surprised by the abundance of fresh towels provided. Additionally, the transportation to and from the airport was seamlessly arranged, making our arrival and departure hassle-free. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing escape. I can't wait to return!

Our second stay at Mahogany Bay, first time with this rental company, they were very responsive and helped us plan ahead!!! The location is beautiful and the house was awesome!! We have 6 of us and it was very comfortable for us all!!

As beautiful and peaceful as we were hoping! Such a great setting, very easy to find and super central to both Maya Beach and just a 20-min drive to Placencia. Publics grocery is 8-min drive south, and loads of close restaurants. We used the kayaks and even fished in them across the lagoon. Star gazed at night from the dock, and cooked in the fully equipped and stocked kitchen. Herbert provided absolutely anything you could ever need and then some. Seriously, not just sun block and bug spray, but like 3 kinds. Numerous different towels and beach towels, umbrellas, spices and oils/marinades in the kitchen, not only kayaks and bikes, but a fishing pole and net, multiple sizes life jacket, super strong WiFi, you name it. Great bathroom with big tub and strong water pressure. Sitting on the deck listening to the lagoon was mesmerizing. Obviously a lot of planning went into the thoughtful details and we absolutely loved our stay. Thank you Herbert!

We had a wonderful time here. The kitchen had everything we needed to make multiple meals. We enjoyed the grill and the hammock and waking up to the sounds of birds in all the beautiful trees. It’s clear they take pride in the property. It’s beautifully landscaped, the bathrooms and kitchens had fresh-cut flowers, and the towels and bedding were so cozy. Having laundry available was also a plus!

I cannot recommend Tina's home highly enough. From booking to checkout, the process was easy and seamless. The home is gorgeous and has everything you need and more. The view cannot be beat. The pool was refreshing after a day out snorkeling or into town or to Caye Caulker. Eva, the house manager, virtually acts as a personal concierge - seeing to everything you could possibly need at the house, tons of contacts for snorkeling, fishing, massages (at the dock) and restaurants. She met us as we docked and was available throughout our stay to ensure a wonderful visit to Belize. As noted in the description, the house is a 25-minute golf cart ride on, at times, an unpaved dirt road. It can be bumpy but overall it's definitely worth it. The beds were comfy, the A/C was a dream, and we cooked a few meals there and found everything we needed. We hated to leave but are grateful for the hospitality and beautiful place to visit. If you're considering a San Pedro visit, this is the place!

The location turned out to be a bit farther than I had expected, especially when I was craving some food. I had hoped for easier access to the ocean, but unfortunately, that wasn't quite the case. The view was lovely, from the patio deck, although you could not dip your feet in or just lounge around the ocean. However, I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the space. The bathroom seemed to be a self-cleaning toilet, but it didn't quite meet my standards, and I noticed some cobwebs and hair throughout the house. The dishes weren't clean either, so I had to wash them before I could use them. On a brighter note, my overall stay was enjoyable! Luis, the host, was incredibly accommodating and always ready to help with anything we needed. He was such a kind and pleasant person!

My family had a great stay at Bonnie’s place! It was in a good location, just minutes from the main street of Placencia. We really enjoyed going to the Beach Club for the day and the kids had a blast in the pool! The house was well-equipped with pretty much anything we could need. Bonnie was extremely responsive when the A/C had a snafu that we were able to troubleshoot. We had a great meal down the road in Signe Bight at Vern’s Kitchen as well as several spots in Placencia (finished off with Tutti Frutti of course). There is construction on the house next door which is a little unsightly but it was not loud and didn’t bother us at all. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend the Salty Bliss!

Truly a perfect little home, so comfy!! We loved our last night in Belize in Carolyns home. We walked to get ice cream and pizza and slept so well in the comfy beds. Thank you again!

Shallow Bay was beautiful, so cute, and very clean. The kitchen has everything you need. The covered deck is very large and we loved having coffee in the morning and nightcap in evening out there. It is super quiet and peaceful along with well landscaped and maintained lot. Jeannette the local contact person is extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions and tours. I would definitely come back and recommend staying here.

I can not rave about this place enough. From our amazing host, Leila, who was so responsive and incredibly helpful before and during our stay. To the very peaceful location with all the amenities, the delicious food at the restaurant with amazing staff, and all staff onsite. I would recommend this Airbnb over and over again.

Great location, central, walk out to the beach. We didn’t try the pool or hot tub but it all looked well maintained and the site shows well. Unit was well equipped, quality furnishings, clean, spacious. Professionally managed, staff were easy to work with, very helpful. Note that property is difficult to get to, you have to go down an alley from the main road then turn left down another. If you don’t know where the place is, it’d be difficult to find, so make sure you get directions. Location prevents a car from taking you and your luggage directly to the site, but they’ll help with a golf cart. Construction on site but they are very transparent about that and we didn’t find it disruptive. We’d stay again.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay! We arranged a golf cart rental through the host and Amer met us at the ferry terminal to deliver it (and met us at water taxi for dropoff). We followed him to the property and he brought in our bags before we could even park the cart. Barb was there waiting to greet us and provide a walkthrough of the unit and made sure we had everything we needed. The unit itself was exactly as pictured – clean, comfortable, and well-furnished. Daily maid service kept everything tidy with and provided fresh dry towels. The Wi-Fi was reliable and allowed us to work remotely without any issues. The location, about a half-mile north of the bridge, was fantastic, although you can hear some traffic noise. We recommend a golf cart to get around so you don't have to walk along the road at night. Being right on the beach was amazing and the adjacent snorkel shop and restaurants were great. There's a nice pool and lounge area situated between the beach and unit.

Such a great spot—right on the beach, private but still walkable to everything. The rooftop was perfect for sunrise and relaxing. The host was super helpful and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing 10 star experience here - the condo had everything I needed for a very comfortable month-long stay. I felt right at home and very safe. SA, the owner, was very proactive with communication and provided so much helpful info (how to get fresh juice and local meat delivered, which days to visit the produce stands, duty free at the airport, etc). Emma and Edwin, the caretakers, are so friendly and are always available to help. Beyond spending your days on the beach, you can book numerous tours to keep you occupied (scuba, snorkel, cave tubing, Mayan ruins, ziplining, etc). I spent a lot of time just chillin' on the beautiful porch watching the gorgeous sunsets with a Belikin in-hand. If you rent a golf cart or bike, you can easily be in the heart of the town in 5-7 minutes with access to wonderful restaurants, markets and shops. I can't wait to come back when SA is also in town because she'd be a very cool person to hang out with!

The highlight of our stay was Rafael, the caretaker. He greeted us on arrival and gave a full walk-through of the condo, showing us how to use everything and offering tips on where to eat, shop and explore. His insight into local culture and customs was invaluable, especially for first-time visitors. He even followed up after our night out and checked to make sure we made it home safely. The condo itself was spotless and fully stocked, with beach towels (a huge bonus), a kitchen ready for cooking and comfy beds with more pillows than Martha Stewart would dare use. The pool was crystal clear, the neighbors were friendly and secure parking was available for our golf cart. The TV included local cable and popular streaming apps. From start to finish, Rafael made us feel like family. His warmth, thoughtfulness and attention to detail turned a great stay into an unforgettable one. Every Airbnb should be this welcoming.
