Ridge Runners Suite #1

A Ridge Runnercan refer to someone from the Appalachian mountains, a moonshiner, a trail guide, or a guest of our rentals! This brand new 1 bedroom/1 bath apartment has been reclaimed from a vintage building and is situated in a lovely corner of Eastern Kentucky. The comfy queen bed is in a private bedroom with its own remote-controlled heat/air unit and a window peeking out onto the Appalachian mountains. (We also offer two other similar units in this same location...be sure to see our listings for Apt #3 and Apt #4 as well! Book all three units to house up to 12 guests). One step outside the bedroom is a coffee bar sure to make waking up a pleasure. The bathroom sports a shower with plenty of room for your toiletries in addition to the shampoo and soap we provide. In the living room area, you'll find another remote-controlled heat/air unit, a plush couch, a coffee table, an electric fireplace, and a 50" TV. The couch contains a queen pull-out with an additional cushioning mattress topper. The coffee table contains storage for the pull-out bedding and extra pillows, all vacuum sealed to stay perfectly clean and ready for your use if needed. The large kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, fridge, plates, glasses, silverware, salt, pepper, etc, and a table for four if you'd like to eat in the privacy of your apartment. You'll also love the covered porch just outside the front door of your apartment as well as the deck at the rear of the building. Yet, if you're looking to venture out, you'll be mere moments from restaurants, shopping, groceries, gas, ice, and nightlife all within a 2-mile radius of your location. If you're hauling a trailer, you'll have no problem here, as our parking area is very trailer-friendly. Plus, there is no need for trailering once you've parked...ride to the trailhead on your machine! We're very easy to find as we're just one minute off State Route 119 between Pikeville, KY and Logan, WV with no winding mountain roads to navigate. The property is nestled into a valley surrounded by mountains views all around, and yet is within walking distance of a grocery store, bank, mall, and restaurants. Our property is just over a football field away from the highway, so you get both the convenience you crave as well as the quiet you need to rest...no loud highway noise or nearby train tracks to disturb you. Private 4 bedroom house equipped with full kitchen, (2) living spaces, dining, 2 full baths, laundry room, kitchenette downstair. Outdoor pavilion area with with charcoal and gas grill, corn hole and fire pit. Free WiFi. Ride straight to buffalo and devil anse trails less than a mile. Or downtown Williamson is 2 miles. 5 access points from house on ATV. Note this house is on a hill. Plenty of parking to hold 5-6 trucks. We have an overflow lot to accommodate oversized trailers if needed.

Relaxing stay at Creekside Lodge

Wonderful, homey getaway beside flowing creek with little traffic, less than a mile from the Buffalo Mountain Trailhead. This is not just a place for trail riders but has been used by people attending family reunions and local festivals. Creekside Lodge is within the town limits of Delbarton where there are several restaurants, a small general store, and soon to open Dollar General. Trail riders will pass a local gas station on the way to the trail head.
