Situated in the historic village of Burnside, Millburn Cottage is the ideal base for exploring the north east of Ireland. Marrying rustic charm and modern comforts, the cottage is over 300 years old and recently renovated to a luxury standard. Enjoy the setting of this romantic spot on a working sheep and cattle farm in the Dromara Hills, nestled in nature. Between Castlewellan and Dromara, 15min drive to Newcastle, 25min from Belfast. A couples retreat with a new electric hot tub in the middle of a mountain, sheep as the only possible disturbance. Guests are welcome to meet and greet our animals at the gate up to the hut. This is a modern studio apartment, located 4 miles from city centre by train and bus. Train/bus/gym/restaurant are only 5 minute walk and the bar has live music 2 nights a week. Finaghy Village is a 10 min. walk and can accommodate all your needs. Close & quiet but easily accessible to all the action! We usually have a two night minimum, but if you require one night, please contact me and I will see if I can accommodate you. Last minute bookings are welcome, just get in contact with me.
