Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Belén

Staying in Alajuela was one of the most heartwarming parts of my time in Costa Rica. I had the pleasure of staying in an Airbnb hosted by the sweetest abuelita and abuelito—truly some of the kindest and most welcoming people I’ve ever met. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel completely at home. We had so many lovely chats, shared stories, and they genuinely took care of me like family. It was more than just a place to stay—it was an experience that showed me the heart of Costa Rican hospitality. If you’re looking for a cozy, authentic, and truly special stay, this is the place. I left with a full heart and a deep appreciation for the warmth of the people here.

Lugar demasiado bonito, cómodo, acogedor, su ubicación bastante accesible a lugares de Belen, zona demasiada tranquila y bonita igualmente, personal amigable y demasiado atento, fue una estadía demasiada cómoda y bonita, lugar recomendado

This is a very active and vibrant community. The day starts early! It was super convenient to have a supermarket right next door and the town center was always fun to visit. There is a bus stop very close by that will take you to Alajuela. It is a very busy city with lots of shopping and things to see. If you have the chance go to a soccer game it is very much worth the money. The pura vida lift is an alive and well in Santa Barbera. Luis and his family will take very good care of you and the property was magnificent. I would stay there again.

The family at Cariari House welcomes you with a lot of love. They are such kind people. I had a great stay with them. Great conversations, great cooking together, great playing music together, and again - wonderful conversations. I felt like home and they treated me very well. I can't wait to come back if my path is ever in San José again. Highly recommend!

Siempre es un excelente lugar el departamento de Manrique. Limpio, bien ubicado, cómodo y funcional. Muy bien edificio además.

El espacio es muy precioso, está completamente acomodado, muy bien equipado, las amenidades que ofrece el lugar son perfectas por mencionar la piscina y el mercado gastronómico, aparte el trato del host y recepción es excepcional.

Ivonne's casita was really lovely! It is quite small, but worked for myself and my 2 teenage sons. We absolutely loved the property and the beautiful surroundings. It was very peaceful and we had fun hiking around and playing tetherball. I also greatly appreciated the washing machine, as we were in the area for a sporting event and needed to wash the athletic wear. Ivonne also helped us with a hose for washing extra things :) She and her husband were very friendly and made us feel extremely welcome. Check-in and check-out were easy and flexible.

Me encanta la Cabaña Antares, es un espacio muy hermoso y cómodo diseñado para pasarla bien y relajarse, es la segunda ocasión que vamos y realizaron mejorías que hacen el espacio aún más acogedor y llamativo. El área donde se encuentra el jacuzzi está muy completa. Definitivamente volveremos, muchas gracias.

Todo fue increíble, la cabina muy acogedora en medio del Bosque. La propiedad muy linda y bien cuidada. Monica fue muy amable y atenta con nuestras necesidades.

The home was fantastic. Viviana was great and very responsive. We also stayed at her other property that was close to the airport, which was in a good location. Home was clean, very fast wifi, gated property, with comfy bed. The home was perfect for our needs. When we return, we will definitely stay at Viviana's place. Thanks.
