Words can’t even begin to describe the AMAZING time we had at the River Island House. This was a wonderful escape from city life and a much deserved break from the work world. The house was perfect and comfortably fit all six adults (plus dogs). The picturesque river is the most beautiful part of this serine location. The river served as a backdrop for our family pictures and the sound is also very soothing. We come from the flatlands of Kansas, so being surrounded by mountains is always breathtaking. One afternoon was spent with local residents at Carter’s Camp (Nye,Montana). We had great conversation, ate wonderful food, drank ice cold beer and lost a few dollars in the small casino. We also had the opportunity to meet Ken (the man who built Island River House). It was a great way to learn some interesting history on where we were staying. Debi was a great host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ranch house. The home was very spacious, clean and comfortable. An excellent place to unwind, relax, and enjoy our family. The Ranch house was out in the countryside where it was very quiet and private. The home was well equipped with all the amenities you could ever want and very nicely decorated. The host answered any questions we had in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend The Ranch House as an excellent stay!

Booked Alison’s place to be near our family in Big Timber. Before we even arrived, I needed assistance increasing the number of guests and ensuring I wouldn’t lose the reservation. Alison was of great help and quickly accepted the changes. When we arrived, her written directions were helpful since it is in a secluded area and could seem like you’re lost when you’re really on the right path. We got in pretty late, but were able to smoothly check in and get comfy enough for bed. The master/primary is soft, but had a great night’s sleep each night. And no complaints from the other guests. Shower pressure was superb (there was a comment it wasn’t). Plenty of towels, bedding, pillows, and toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, & body wash). Kitchen supplies & kid toys were great as well. Everything is as described and it felt like a home away from home. Would definitely stay again. A big plus is all the wildlife you get to see on the way in and out of the property.

Kris and Dan were excellent hosts. The cabin was cozy and as described. Things were arranged so that we could find things easily. They were there when you needed them, but they gave you privacy. The cabin had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.
