“The pods are super cute and we were very cozy with the down duvets! A very nice experience overall. The owner gave us some great tips for walking and leant us a map. The price is maybe a little steep but the novelty of staying in a wee wooden hut explains that. One other thing! The showers are amazing. Very powerful and hot. Great stuff. Has everything you need for a short stay.”
A quarry man's cottage at the foot of Snowdon. Fully refurbished in 2015 to provide excellent facilities for couples and young families. Snowdon is at the door and Rhyd Ddu provides good accessibility to a wide range of other activities.
“Couldn’t have asked for a better location for this cottage. Especially if you are planning on climbing Snowdon via the Rhyd-Ddu path and the Snowdon Rangers path. The cottage is very nice and cosy and our dogs felt very much at home. The place is very clean, warm and tidy with all the necessary amenities. A place to wash and dry your wet walking gear and an outside garden if you are lucky enough with the weather. The village itself is quiet with a nice little pub within a stones throw of the cottage. There is also a forest nearby to get lost in if the mountain weather aren’t suitable for hiking. The host is very accommodating and communication is impeccable.”
Our little holiday bungalow is set in the garden of the main cottage with the river running through the garden itself. It is a short walk into the village and the ideal location to explore Snowdonia, mountains, lakes and beach
“Great little cottage. Wonderful and relaxing listening to the tranquil sound of the river in the picturesque setting of Beddgelert. The cottage was spotless, had all amenities that we needed for our weekend. It is in a great location with pubs and eating places nearby. Lovely walks. Not too far away to jump in the car or catch the train to visit other places of interest. Pat was lovely host and we had no problems at all. Overall really impressive and wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.”
