What a stunning place! It was incredibly peaceful and calming, away from other people and the village. The hut was gorgeous, clean, and had everything we needed. The entire process from booking to checkout was incredibly smooth. Highly recommend!

What a hidden gem! the pictures don't do the accommodation justice, as it's much bigger and complete then shown in the pictures. The accommodation has a nice little kitchen - with truly everything you need - and a large garden with hammock. There is even private parking. The best, however, was Arthuro! An amazing friendly and joyful host, who welcomed us with open arms and was always willing to help or answer questions.

This is a great hidden gem!! Highly recommend if you’re exploring the area and need a base camp. Friendly staff and very responsive host.

We stayed at Sara's place whilst visiting Calakmul. Once checked in, someone showed us to the cabin. The cabin was lovely, especially the bathroom which was spacious and light. We stayed in many places around Yucatan during our trip and this was the best shower we'd come across at this point! I wouldn't mark the property down for this because it's advertised as having no air con, but at 39 degrees in March the heat does rise up to the bedroom and it can be quite uncomfortable until late evening. There are two large ceiling fans and two portable fans to circulate the air. As to be expected we did have a few 'friends' join us throughout our stay, if you're scared of frogs/lizards/spiders/insects then this place probably isn't for you! There is a restaurant on site - we didn't think much of it, the food at dinner was nice but service was non-existent at times, and the breakfast buffet could have been better for the price. Overall the cabin was well presented, clean and suited our stay.
