The kitchen is missing a few amenities. A stovetop and strainer to drain pasta. For the location it was perfect! The ease of going cross-country skiing and Alpine skiing or Old Quebec. You're all set! Thanks!

Very nice cottage all wood as in the photos, we loved the central fireplace and the very accessible hot tub. Perfect for our stay with two couples and children. Only small downside to the sound insulation, the wooden walls /floors of the bedrooms are very thin, namely.

Our Valentine’s weekend took an unexpected turn when our original Airbnb canceled on us after check-in, leaving us stranded. But thanks to Airbnb’s support team, we found Chalet La-Berge Du Lac—and oh my god, were we lucky! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The chalet is spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly cozy. The jacuzzi was simply amazing, the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Though it was winter and the lake was frozen, we could see they offer kayaks, outdoor activities, and even ice fishing—which I wish I had known about earlier! The place has everything you need—a spacious layout, plenty of amenities like a BBQ, a cozy living room with a sofa bed, and so much more. The hosts were exceptional—super friendly and always available whenever we had a question. Communication was seamless, and the check-in/check-out process was effortless. We will definitely be back!!

Great place to stay, has connector directly to the snowmobile trails, place was as described, plenty of parking, host was very responsive and provided all necessary info up front. Wish there had been more snow but that's not the fault of the resort. Will stay again!

My family came together for the long Easter weekend. It was a great place to gather, wonderful surroundings and a really comfortable and cozy chalet. Plenty of place for everyone to relax in different parts of the house as well as everyone together in the dining room. And it great for a smaller gathering as well. Also the local general store is great for all essentials. We will be bookmarking this property for future use!

Spent a long weekend at this cute little cabin. My husband and I loved it so much, we wish we could buy it! I do wish there would have been a shower instead of just a bathtub and it was dog friendly. We would love to come back every year but we have a growing family and hate to leave our furry friends behind. Overall, beautiful location, peaceful, and quite. Perfect for a getaway!

Eric’s place was perfect for our ice fishing and snowmobile trip. Accessed the trails right from the cabin. Eric was very responsive to any concerns we had. Will definitely be coming back again!

Great spot. cute house. beautiful location by the river. Nichole is a super host. If using as a base camp for snowmobiles it is almost a mile of road riding and neighbors walking or even driving by don't seem pleased.

My friend and I enjoyed our stay on our snowmobile weekend. The house was conveniently located to trail access and had all the accommodations and amenities we could ask for to make it a great stay. I would recommend the house to anyone who wants to get away to Jackman. Linda was a fabulous host who was readily available and extremely helpful. The cabin was the perfect base camp for my annual grouse hunting trip with my dogs. It was very centrally located to the areas that I was targeting. The home had all of the necessities and it was far from roughing it! Heather was very proactive and super responsive to any questions that I had and made every effort to be helpful with any recommendations. I hope that she will have us back next year!

Beautiful little cozy and warm cottage. We were two adults and two kids, we had enough space and especially a lot of fun despite the rainy weather. The facilities are rudimentary but completely in accordance with the description and everything is functional. The micro chalet is located really close to the parking lot and Club Houde which can be a good option with children. The outdoor terrace with the fire spot is a nice plus to the cottage. I will definitely return in the summer.

Exactly what I was looking for! I get one vacation a year and this was perfect! Had an amazing time with my kids kayaking, fishing, boating, hiking, and watching the ducks. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Very clean small house with all amenities, very clean and comfortable. We had a pleasant weekend.

Great quiet spot in a private area. We could not have picked a better week in late Sept with the cooler weather, no rain and leaves changing. Although we struck out on several early morning moose viewing drives we were able to have the lake to ourselves, only sharing it with the many loons on the kayak/canoe trips. We were able to create some great memories which was special as my youngest son will be deployed during the holidays, so we celebrated them beforehand. My son brought his dog along and was able to enjoy the outdoors along with all our hikes and backcountry adventures. Tom and Jayne were fantastic host and responded very quickly to our questions. We absolutely loved our stay and definitely return to this lovely home. Thank you to the host for an incredible getaway

Great weekend as friends - the game of basketball was a great success. The hot tub was clean and functional. All worked (electro, etc.). Patrick checked in throughout the stay to make sure everything was okay. He was answering our questions very quickly. Great stay, the kids want to come back in summer and next winter. Who knows, why not!

If you're looking to have an authentic experience and go back “as in the good old days”, this place is great! The two log cottages, connected by a balcony and nestled in the middle of the forest on the edge of Lake Mégantic, offer a simply beautiful view and a site. Without electricity or running water, it is an invitation to disconnect and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Solar lamps and a cell phone charger are still available, adding a practical touch. Although the lack of water requires some planning (like bringing enough for dishes), this is part of the rustic charm. The backhouse, located a little further afield, adds a touch of adventure, although it can be a challenge at night for the younger ones. The slow-burning fireplaces in each cottage create a warm atmosphere, but require maintenance to maintain a pleasant temperature. A great experience for nature lovers.

Karine's cabin was such a magical place! It was spotless and had everything we needed. The views from the deck were stunning! Karine was super responsive and helpful. Would definitely come back!
