Blackhorse Cabin

Quant little cabin nestled high enough in the mountain to view Mt Alice from the front porch and still close enough to the town of Seward. There is a queen bed and a futon. The love seat reclines also. There is a fire pit you are free to use and some bikes hang from the deck of the main house feel free to use those. The house is located up the mountain but the road can be heard from the cabin. The queen bed and twin futon are located in the same room. One guest complained the area was to small.

Deanna was a very good communicator. Her place was lovely. It was very welcoming and homey. The bed was soo comfortable I didn’t want to rush out the door in the morning. The photos don’t do it justice! As an Alaskan I’ve always wanted to try a treehouse and this place did not disappoint! The view from the treehouse (especially the amazing tub) were amazing! The walk we took along the lakefront was serene. We slept very comfortably on the kind sized bed (as Alaskans we’re used to sleeping with a fair bit of sun - but from those unaccustomed to this - Roland provides a lot of window coverings and it was quite dark at night). We enjoyed the entire space and especially Roland’s hospitality! Bonus: we got pets from their pets in the morning while seated on the swing structure! We will definitely return! This is why we Airbnb!
