Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bear Creek

We had a wonderful time! We loved the covered fire pit, which was ideal when it rained on our first day. The surrounding landscape and backyard view is absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed listening to the creek and hiking around the water. The house is lovely and had everything we needed to be more than comfortable. The host Rebekah was very quick to respond to any questions leading up to our stay and during, but respected our privacy. Overall, an amazing place to stay! We would love to come back again next year if still in Alaska. Thank you!!

We loved our stay in this beautiful cabin in the woods. The space was well-equipped and extremely comfortable. Rodney was a wonderfully helpful and communicative host, we would recommend this place 100%!

Great little place in Seward , very comfortable for our group .

Oh wow, Heather and Leif's place is so beautiful and immaculate! Both are very friendly, accommodating and not only responsive, but also proactive with communications to ensure our comfort during the stay. The self check-in is so easy with clear instructions and easy to find as well with the provided directions. Love the private, serene location at the end of the street. So close to the bayside town of Seward and of course the Kenai-Fjords national park. Kitchen is a dream with quality appliances, large and small, with everything (and more!) needed to cook, eat and clean for our group of five! Rooms and bathrooms were super clean, with plenty of supplies and towels! Large private yard as well makes this a dream home away from home!

We had a lovely time at the cabin near Bear Creek- it was comfortable, private, quiet and a nice distance to Seward. We had a ball watching a mama moose with two babies munch down on plants from the porch (and the living room, and the bedroom, they were everywhere haha), and checking out the salmon run on Bear creek one road up. The kitchen was well-stocked, the bed was comfy (and we are picky about that) and the porch was fab (though it was a little too chilly out for us to use it much). Stephanie was very responsive and friendly and left us a welcome treat which was lovely to arrive to! Highly recommend!

Great place to stay for 4 people! The property was easy to find, with convenient self-check-in. It’s within walking distance of restaurants and bars. The place was very clean, with a kitchen area stocked with utensils and a large fridge. There’s paid laundry conveniently located right across the street. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay! It was perfect for our short trip to Seward. Across the street from the beach and has beautiful views from your bed. Kelly Ann and Matt have such an awesome spot and we’d love to stay again!

Randy was very friendly and the place was like home. He was very kind and shared information as much as he can. One of the best hosts I have had.

Lyrissa's place was a nice combo of being close to town but feeling private. It was a beautiful place that was very well decorated and maintained with some fun, unique pieces. There were blinds and curtains on all the bedroom windows and fans. Google maps did give us some trouble in getting up the right driveway but someone came out and directed us before we even had a chance to get out of the car. We did also have problems with the bathroom door latching shut but she was both responsive through the app and it was taken care of by just talking to someone on property. This is definitely a basement apartment so there's not a whole lot of natural light and the kitchen is tiny. They did give us lots of snacks and fresh fruit which was amazing! All in all, this is a great place and the hosts are amazing. It is probably better for a family with kids but it definitely worked for our stay.

The view of the bay was amazing! Very convenient to Seward and comfortable beds and furniture.

This was a truly amazing experience living in wilderness. Our time at Janet's place was one of the memorable one. Her creperie next door was a great place to have our breakfast and loved it. It is right on the outskirts of Seward and Exit Glacier is hardly 8 miles from the listing. I would highly recommend this one for your next visit to Seward.

Really enjoyed our stay in Cooper Landing. Impressive accommodations in new construction. Amazing views from the home’s large outdoor patio and wonderful location in the mountains! Wish we had a longer visit for sure. Vince was very kind, responsive and helpful in recommending local dining and recreation. Hopefully we will return for another visit at some point in time and would highly recommend this rental for other future travelers.

Truly incredible place. The view is breathtaking - you can stare at it all day and watch the wildlife. We saw orcas, humpback whales, sea lions, seals, sea otters and a variety of birds all day long. It seemed like every time I looked outside some sea critters were playing in the ocean right below. So awesome. The stairs as others have said are a challenge but not dangerous, just a good workout! And they go by quickly. The cabin is well stocked with kitchenware / plates. My only suggestion for those traveling is to bring a personal blanket for sitting on the deck. I was surprised how much time we spent doing that. It just never got old. Definitely try the sea kayaks - such an awesome excursion. Overall a truly incredible place. Especially for adventurous spirits that want to experience tranquility. I hope to go back someday soon!

Had a great stay at Mark and Letty's; it's nicely situated right between Seward proper and Exit Glacier National Park... close enough to go into town and explore, go back to the cabin to relax a bit, then drive back in for evening activity or dinner out in any of the surround spots. We loved meeting Cabo (the neighbor dog) and we were able to cook a few meals in the cabin (we had to improvise to seat four at the table though! :-) Directions were spot on and hosts are super!

We stayed in two of Jena’s cabins during our family trip to Seward for fishing, and it was a wonderful experience. The cabins were cozy, clean, and set in a beautiful location with great views. It was the perfect place to relax after a day on the water. Jena was an awesome host—welcoming, helpful, and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Rose was excellent and very friendly host. She was very helpful with any needs or questions we had. She was quick to reply to any texts we sent. Her cabin was very nice and clean. Small but very well planned out space. BBQ grill in covered area, perfect for rainy days. She gave excellent advice on local restaurants. We definitely plan on using her cabin next time we visit Alaska!

Kayleigh was an absolutely fantastic host—responsive, thoughtful, and truly welcoming. The house was amazing—beautifully maintained with so many thoughtful touches that made the stay extra special. We especially loved the added luxuries like the bidet toilets and towel heaters—such a treat! The location was perfect—peaceful and just a short drive from town, offering the best of both worlds. We had a wonderful stay at Julie’s place. The home was super clean, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. It’s well-equipped with all the essentials, which made it easy to settle in and feel at home right away. The big parking area at the front of the cabin is a great plus too! The neighbourhood is quiet, peaceful, and felt very safe — perfect for relaxing and getting a good night's sleep. It’s also conveniently located, just a short drive or easy trip into town, so getting groceries, eating out, or exploring the area was no problem. Julie was great to communicate with — very friendly, fast to respond, and helpful throughout my stay. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. Overall, a lovely place in a great location. I’d happily stay again and highly recommend it to others looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway.

My husband and I just spent 9 nights in the cabin at this idyllic location. It was sparkling clean from top to bottom. All of the unexpected supplies were extra special! So thoughtful. The towels and bedding were top notch and plentiful. And kitchen equipment was high quality and everything you can think of to make your meals. The little milk frother for coffee was a delightful surprise! One of many little surprises throughout the cabin. The covered front porch made it possible to sit out side and enjoy the views even with rainy evenings. I can’t think of a single thing that would have improved this stay! Thank you for making our first trip to Alaska such a wonderful experience - already planning our return trip to the Primrose Cabin.
