Incluso ha sido escenario de varias películas, la más sonada “Un poco de Chocolate”. Como acontecimiento más reciente, el sábado 12 de agosto de 1972, en plenas fiestas Puerto Viejo de Algorta, es en la planta baja de este histórico edificio, donde se bautizó la popular bebida Kalimotxo". y actualmente ofrecemos dos apartamentos turísticos en este emblemático enclave
