La Casa del Mestre is a small, magical corner in the heart of the mountain, located a few meters from a small village called Aielo de Rugat. In each of its two independent rooms, we offer you the possibility of spending a few days as a couple or with the family in the middle of nature and enjoying the pleasure of discovering yourselves between routes, silence, readings, activities, rest, sports... you decide. El Descanso del Monje

The house was built by the Cistercian monks in 1723. Its walls are 150 cm thick on the ground floor and there is peace and quiet inside it. In ancient times it was a resting place for monks and country workers and shepherds covered their animals in the construction pens. It is oriented to the Mediterranean, and through its windows you can feel the cool breeze that blows from the sea: warm in the winter, cool in the summer.
