Picturesque, Historic Villa with Island Views

Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

In the patio, you will find a small outdoor table for breakfast or lunch in front of a small and flowery garden. Wi-Fi and free parking for motorcycles and bicycles are available inside the property. There are two large free parking lots a few metres away. Small dogs are accepted, but please let us know in advance.

On the hills, among woods, meadows, cultivated fields and fruit trees, inside the Ticino Park, stands the Cascina Ronco dei Lari, which origins date back to 1700, renovated in 2022. You can appreciate the calm of the place, immerse yourself in nature, practice sports and enjoy moments of rural life just a stone's throw from Lake Maggiore and 40 minutes from Milan. It will be possible to benefit from the Cascina products such as berries, jams, juices, saffron, honey and vegetables.

In the center of Dagnente, a tiny hamlet of Arona in the hills of Vergante, the lake in front and behind the woods and mountains, is the Asilo Infantile Don Luigi Bellotti. A stone house built at the end of the 18th century, whose restoration was completed in 2017, perfect for those looking for peace and tranquility, but also an ideal base to visit the Maggiore and Orta lakes and the Ossola, Formazza valleys and other places of cultural and naturalistic interest.

We are in Bedisco, a hamlet of Oleggio, 30 minutes' walk and 5 minutes' drive from the city station and its charming center. From the house, places of high tourist interest are easily accessible: Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta, Monte Rosa and its valleys, Ticino Park; while Malpensa airport is only 18 km away (20 minutes by car). We will also be happy to offer the necessary assistance so that our guests can make the most of the interesting surrounding area.

Cottage in the woods with Finnish sauna

Our small house looks like a comfortable and cute 45 m2 studio with an equipped kitchenette, a sofa bed with a king size memory mattress, a Finnish sauna room (an extra fee is required) completely covered with lime wood and heated with the wood-burning stove (as in the real and authentic Finnish saunas), a bathroom with a shower stall, and a bucket for the waterfall of fresh water. Outside, ample green space with pool , canopy and barbecue.

The apartment, renovated in 2025, is located in Gozzano, a 5-minute drive from Lake Orta and 20 minutes from Lake Maggiore, while in 10 minutes you can reach the villages of Pella and Orta San Giulio. 40 km from Malpensa, the apartment is ideal for those looking for a foothold to explore the lake area.
