Waterfront holiday rentals in Barnegat Bay

The house was just what we needed when we were in the area for a wedding. I really appreciated the easy communication with our hosts.

We have stayed at several lovely places in Highlands, NJ, and this one was far and away our favorite. Amazing location near the beach, gorgeous water views from the kitchen table, and a wonderfully stocked kitchen. Check-in was easy and the location can’t be beat! The mattresses were so comfortable and it was quiet, so we slept really well. We took the Seastreak ferry, so we didn’t have a car, but everything was walkable. The deck and yard were great, with extraordinary water views and even some nesting birds! The hosts were wonderfully responsive and lovely, giving good recommendations. We enjoyed reading some of the books and magazines and playing some of the games. It was a delightful stay, all-around.

Our stay at Sharone's was absolutely wonderful through and through! This space is a gem! Conveniently located from both the boardwalk and the beach, the space itself was tidy, full of amenities, and the perfect escape to reset after several hours on the beach, before heading out to experience the nightlife in the evening. Sharone was attentive and considerate, offering wonderful suggestions and recommendations, and eager to see that we were comfortable, happy, and looked after on our stay. Our trip was pleasure and we will absolutely book again. Thank you, Sharone for your hospitality!

I had a great stay at Anneke’s, she went above & beyond to make the place warm & inviting, especially during the holidays. She had tons of recs, left little snacks, & even a couple gifts since I was there for Christmas! The space was very comfortable, and the backyard was exactly what my dog needed. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Angela’s place was super cute, comfortable and relaxing! Angela made us feel at home and was easy to communicate with. My husband was over the moon watching the boats, wave runners and a lovely little family of swans on the canal. We found some great restaurants near the rental. Ship Bottom Beach and all it has to offer was just over the bridge, easy peasy! We thoroughly enjoyed our beach getaway at Angela’s place!

It was perfect. im so happy i chose to stay there and I got to meet Carla. Ill stay again for sure.

Greg was very responsive of my questions prior to the stay. The place was clean and what I expected. This is a beautiful spot to look out at the ocean I will definitely book this again in the future. Pricing was a little more than usual, however, it was worth every penny.

My adult group had a fantastic stay! This house was everything we wanted in an Ocean Grove/Asbury Park getaway. Staying here gives you all the charm and quirkyness of a Victorian home with plenty of modern amenities to suit your vacation needs. We took full advantage of the outdoor grill and cooked a lot. All necessary tools and pots were stocked. Also 4 beach badges, wagon, and 4 beach chairs. The biggest draw to the home is definitely the porch! Great sunrises, sunsets, morning coffee, evening cocktails, family dinners, book reading, and conversation. Porch comfortably fits 8 adults. Get ready to get your steps in! Lots of stair climbing but it's great exercise. Also because of the limited street parking, we walked to everything in OG and AP. Taking Lake Ave and the bridges is super convenient. Lastly, Rachel the property manager is the best! Great communication and help with unloading upon arrival. Always responsive to questions and a friendly face during the week.

Hong was very flexible about check in and check out and responsive.

Great host and really beautiful place. We were off-season so did not take advantage of water play but house had all the toys for kids and adults to use.

All in all a great stay, my only recommendation is if you are someone who likes to have a wash cloth pack some for your trip along with dish towels and extra paper towels. Otherwise a great location and Aron was very responsive and helpful!

We had a fantastic off-season stay at this Jersey Shore spot. The location right on the water made for a peaceful and relaxing retreat. The home was comfortable, the communication was seamless, and the hosts were incredibly generous. A perfect place to unwind—highly recommend!

Awesome rest and relaxation for myself, my mom (86) and the pups! Location was perfect for a quiet, by the water weekend. Alex’s house has all you need to plop down in the sun by the water with a good book and the pups. I feel rested and rejuvenated! Location was perfectly situated, close enough to go to the island yet far enough to feel away from the tourism chaos. Alex was extremely accommodating and responsive. My family really enjoyed ourselves. The place was very quiet and peaceful. Daniel was very responsive to our needs. I inquired about crab traps and he had three available. My son was new to this and at first he said that he wasn't very interested. By the end of the trip I couldn't get him to stop checking the traps every ten minutes. We had everything we needed for the fire pit and the barbecue grill. The area was perfect for my daughter who is learning to drive. We had some quality time practicing her driving skills. Overall a great trip and a wonderful accommodations. Thanks Daniel.

Niki's place was amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better location. The view was beautiful. Niki had most of what we needed for the beach, which was so helpful: chairs and umbrellas. The house had all we needed to make meals at home and was close enough to walk to the boardwalk. The master bedroom's bed was exceptionally comfortable. Niki was great at communicating and helping us troubleshoot the TV when we couldn't turn it on. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic location and completely updated, clean, and comfortable rental. Everything you need is provided, including beach equipment. Access to the beach couldn’t be easier. Paula and Dwight were extremely responsive and gracious hosts and went out of their way to answer any questions and provide support when needed. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at the house! Everything was as listed. AJ was responsive and reached out with clear instructions on check in and house tips. The location was amazing, so close to the beach, and the neighbors in the rest of the house were very friendly. We loved chilling on the porch, and the quietness of Ocean Grove with the proximity of the more busy town of Asbury only about 3/4 of a mile away is perfect! Thanks again and we wil surely be looking to book again in the future!

What a pleasant experience we just had at Two Sisters Dream . Great location, clean, great views, 5 stars communication. It felt like Home away from home . Thankful and grateful for a perfect getaway !

Vaseem is a very kind and responsive host. All of her instructions were very clear and helpful. The condo is very clean with great amenities and a beautiful view of the ocean from the master bedroom and living area. It’s also a great location close to many good restaurants and shops. We had a great time and would love to stay in Vaseem’s condo anytime we take a trip to LBI.

This was a sweet little place that is perfect for a getaway! The condo was squeaky clean, updated, and stocked in a way that indicated that Zachary had thought about it—you can tell when little details are thought through because when you reach for something you would at home, it’s there. Can’t beat the location, and I bet the pool is wonderful for families in the summer. We had one glitch and Zachary made it right, which speaks volumes. Recommend!

What a wonderful Airbnb hosted by Victor & Myra! Their place was up to date, beautifully decorated, spotless, yet gave a homey feel with their personal touches. My family and I loved it & would definitely recommend! Thank you Víctor & Myra :)

We loved this place. Location definitely walkable to the boardwalk and beach. Also walkable to nice restaurants in Asbury Park and the Stone Pony if you are OK with walking up to a mile each way. The tennis court next door is part of a private club (off limits), but we found a public tennis/pickle ball court just 1.5 miles away on Main street. The bathroom has been updated very nicely. Another great amenity was the fully stocked Keurig coffee system. Thank you!
