We welcome you to stay at our newly renovated coastal home in the heart of Barna village on the Wild Atlantic way and 15 minutes from Galway City and 10 minutes from Salthill. We look out on Galway Bay. We are 2 minute's walk from the two beaches and 5 minute's walk from the great selection of restaurants, pubs, hotels , cafes, hairdressers, barbers, supermarket and launderette. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything one might require to prepare and serve meals at the cottage. Along with a filter coffee machine and a stove top espresso pot. Ballindooley Castle

The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels
