Right in front of the apartment there are bus stops and the departure of the free shuttle to the facilities in winter and the departure for the summer shuttle. The distance from the ski lifts is four minutes by car The apartment has been recently furnished and consists of a living room with a double sofa bed, a bedroom with two single beds (which can be joined into a double bed), a kitchenette, a bathroom and a balcony with beautiful views of the valley. Tradition, love and tranquility: these are the adjectives we choose to describe this independent chalet. Inside there is a nice living room with a kitchen room and bathroom, but it is enough to climb the stairs, strictly made of wood, to find the bedrooms and the second bathroom. Just outside this Chalet that will make you feel at "home" you are just a short walk from the center of the country (2 min. walk) and less than 5 minutes by car from the departure of the ski resorts.

In the upper Valtournenche, at the foot of the Matterhorn, surrounded by herds of grazing cows in summer and white snow in the winter months, my wife Enrica and I will be happy to welcome our guests to our apartment. Close to the towns of Valtournenche and Cervinia (about 3 km) but still isolated from the chaos, it is the ideal place to relax, observe enchanting views, listen to the silence of the mountain, play sports and take fantastic walks starting right from the house!

“Méquio” in patois means “home.” This apartment has been our home for over 10 years, and it is here that we have seen our daughter grow up. We want to make our guests feel like they are on vacation, welcoming them in a typical mountain setting (exposed beams, stone fireplace, wooden attic...) but at the same time we want to offer them the comfort and above all the warmth of a "real home". The accommodation is ideal for 2/3 people.

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. About 250m away is the ski rental, very close to the supermarket, butcher and baker, opposite is the tourist office, 100 meters away is the ski bus stop, 100 meters away is a public parking lot for a fee and 150 meters away is a free public parking lot. The start of the lifts is about 2 km away.
