Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Barguelonne-en-Quercy

We stayed for 10 nights as 5 adults and 3 kids all under the age of 5. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the size of space and facilities available were excellent and we felt right at home. The cellar was a big hit with the adults and we all enjoyed the pool day and night. Plenty of nice villages and towns within driving distance if you want to get out and explore which we did on several occasions. Rachel will keep you right with plenty of local tips and info she’s a great host. I’m sure we will be back, thanks again

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet village. Le Centenaire restaurant was walkable and provided good food and drink. Loved the farmhouse table in the kitchen and we spent many meals there or on the deck table. Many hot air balloons over the deck in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked for in home food preparation. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well appointed.

The cottage is perfect for relaxing as a family,very warm. We'll be happy to go back.

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

Nathalie and Tim were such extraordinary hosts! My family and I had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home! The house itself is perfect for cooking, relaxing, and spending time together. We were able to enjoy the wonderful gardens and the pool all day and watch the sunset from our patio each evening. Such a stunning and relaxing atmosphere. The best part was how well taken care of we felt all week. Nathalie helped organize a tour of local vineyards, scheduled a wine tasting by the pool, and cooked dinner for us all on 2 evenings. She also had great local restaurant and market recommendations! We also loved our morning chocolatines and croissants! They were extremely kind and accommodating throughout the trip - delivering bottles of wine when we ran short, lending us a pot so that we could cook a big stew one night, and even working a miracle helping me removing a grenadine stain from a white dress I bought at a local market. I can’t recommend this wonderful home enough!

We had a memorable week at this stunning Dordogne home. We felt looked after in every way, the house is really beautiful filled with quality appliances, linen, towels and stylish interior design. The garden was full of flowers, the setting is magical we absolutely loved the outside dining, the breakfast room and the well equipped kitchen. Views, hot air balloons drifting by and a walk to the chateau up above us was amazing. Highly recommend Sandrine and Franck have created a home away from home. Would love to go back. Thanks to our hosts.

We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the apartment and its terraced garden. The view from the terrace is a pleasant one overlooking rooftops and towards a hill. It was nice to meet Ralf on arrival who showed us around, explained how the apartment worked and had time to have a chat - so much nicer than arriving to a lockbox. This is a new listing so I think almost everything is brand new - which was a plus. The beds were firm and to our liking. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cooking utensils - which is great as I like to cook. There is a nice dining table and chairs on the terrace as well as other outdoor furniture. The apartment is really close to the historic centre of Sarlat - probably a five minute walk. Also close by is a bakery and it is only a few minutes walk to the supermarket if you don’t want to drive to the bigger supermarkets on the outskirts of the town. The property has a locked gated entry with parking just to the side of the apartment.

David was a friendly and very helpful host, and the accommodation was spotless and comfortable. The peaceful surroundings made for a perfect stay – highly recommended!

Sophie's accommodation is very nice and renovated with quality materials. In addition, it is close to the center and shops while allowing you to enjoy a beautiful environment and calm. For a stress-free arrival, Sophie had made available to us: coffee, tea, condiments, etc. It was perfect.

Our stay went wonderfully well. The place is even nicer than the pictures. It's very clean, very bright and very quiet. The garden is superb and enjoys stunning views of Cordes sur Ciel. The children had the great joy of being able to play there, to run there. It's a real slice of paradise. We would highly recommend this beautiful place and will be happy to come back!

We just spent a few days at this amazing apartment in La Roque-Gageac. The place is in a building several hundreds of years old, renovated with lots of taste, beautiful and modern bathrooms, a lovely courtyard with tables and chairs to relax in, comfortable beds. Adrien and Marion are a wonderful couple that welcomed us warmly. Our children loved their gentle dog, Indi - we loved the restaurant next door. The perfect place for a glass of wine and a taste of their remarkable food! Right in the center of la Roque-Gageac, loads of things to do such as hikes, castle visits, going to markets, cooking class, biking and canoeing (what we couldn’t do due to poor weather conditions). I highly recommend staying here! All the best to Adrien and Marion!

We had a pleasant stay at Stephanie's apartment Stéphanie is welcoming and friendly, and has provided us with the information so that we can best organize our visits and recommend local restaurants. The apartment is spacious , bright , and comfortable. The beams and stones , with the fireplace , the hardwood floors , give it a lot of charm. It is conveniently located in Cahors and everything is on foot. The market is a stone's throw away in Cathedral Square We arrived on May 1st so a lot of closed shops, but Stéphanie leaves coffee pods and the essentials to arrive without needing to run for groceries , it's very appreciated. We parked without difficulty every day on the street of the accommodation, free in the evening and on weekends from Saturday at noon. I can only recommend this apartment. The area is superb, there is a lot to see, we will come back 👍

Very nice accommodation, well-equipped, spacious, comfortable and functional. The bedding is good. Children love the dormitory. The provision of sheets (beds made on arrival) and towels is a real plus. Air conditioning in the upstairs rooms as well. The exteriors are great: large table on a shaded terrace at mealtime, outdoor kitchen, beautiful wooded garden, well maintained, large swimming pool surrounded by a terrace with umbrella, very peaceful. The landlord is responsive when needed. We had a great stay in a place that was faithful to the listing. We recommend.

We had a perfect stay at this house. Very spacious, bright and comfortable to live in. There were 8 of us working remotely, the connection was there. The hosts were very responsive to our various requests. I highly recommend this listing!

We had a lovely week here. It’s so beautiful and peaceful and the house is great- inside and out but especially the garden and pool. Our kids loved it!
