We had an incredible stay at Villa Jahe in the Sumberkima Hill Retreat. The villa is beautifully designed, blending traditional Balinese architecture with modern comfort. The view over the bay and surrounding hills is absolutely breathtaking – especially during sunrise and sunset. The villa feels very private and is perfect for relaxing. The private pool was a highlight – always clean and surrounded by nature. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. The outdoor bathroom is a special touch and made the experience even more unique. Staff were kind and helpful. Communication before and during the stay was smooth, and they assisted with booking massages, meals, and transport. The food at the retreat’s restaurants was excellent – fresh, healthy, and beautifully presented. This place is a bit off the beaten track, which is exactly what we wanted. If you’re looking for peace, nature, and a bit of luxury in the north of Bali, Villa Jahe is the perfect spot.

Our stay was amazing. Very peaceful and lots to do in the resort itself. Very nice restaurants with super friendly staff and tasty food. Fair prices. Amazing pools and even a small gym. If you want to zone out - this is your place. The house itself was the perfect place to chill and look at the ocean. We had a great time. Thank you!

An absolutely beautiful villa. The view from the pool is unique and the amenities themselves are very tasteful. We are very sad that our stay there is already over and would love to come again!

We marveled everyday, in deep gratitude, at the pure delight of staying in Adeline’s villa. It was magic. It really was. The private pool is immaculate and its temperature always perfect. The hosts were gracious in their flexibility, and so generous with their time and guidance, while fully protecting our space and privacy. The entire staff was always ready to serve in the most sweet-natured and unobtrusive ways. There are “fancier” places in Pemuteran, but in our week of exploring that marvelous area, we never saw anything that came close to the special qualities of Adeline’s place. I’ll unhesitatingly recommend to family and favorite friends.

We have booked four bedrooms and stayed very well with all persons in the two-bedroom house and the attached annex with two other units. The property is therefore also ideal for larger groups such as a family reunion to spend a few days in the city and for excursions in the surrounding area.

We had the most amazing stay at Purwa Ijen! our Jungle View bungalow looked just like the photos! Kak Irna has been very helpful throughout our stay, helping us booking transportation as well as guide to hike Mount Ijen (Mas Riki was very professional and friendly!) and sharing suggested walk routes around Purwa Ijen (including to Agathis Forest!). Mas Wisnu, the caretaker of Purwa Ijen, was super helpful and responsive everytime we had a question. I should add that their smoothie bowl for breakfast is yummy. One more thing: the bathroom was spotless and squeaky clean (must say that bathroom is my pet peeve when traveling). DO BOOK YOUR STAY HERE :) WE TOTALLY RECOMMEND! Miss Dya is an amazing host! We are SUPERHOSTS in USA and she was just wonderful. From booking, to pre-check-in, check-in, during our stay and after, Miss Dya was a perfect host. The space has such adorable style! The living room is small, but the high ceilings and windows make it feel grand. All the bedrooms have great A/C and are nicely decorated. The kitchen, although compact, has what you need for your stay and to prep meals. There are 2 showers: one on its own and another with a toilet. That was nice with our family of 6. We took the Mt. Igen night tour and this was a great homebase. There are easily walkable small shops, easy drive to restaurants, markets and all your activities. There’s room to park your car or motorbike in the gates front yard. We’d highly recommend this space to others coming to explore this area!

We were in sumberkima already second time, we love this location, it’s piecefull, beautyful sureoundings, nestled in the heart of peoples village in the mountain so you can have interactions with them aswell
