Peaceful retreat with amazing hospitality Villa Dwipa by Ayu was the perfect escape—peaceful, beautifully designed, and incredibly welcoming. Ayu is a wonderful host who made sure everything was perfect, from delicious homemade breakfasts to great local tips. The room was spacious, clean, and super comfortable. It's a bit tucked away, which adds to the serenity—ideal if you're looking to relax but still close enough to explore Ubud and nearby sights. I would recommend renting your own vehicle to get around. Highly recommend!

Staying at Kadek’s villa was an absolute dream. The villa itself was even more beautiful than I imagined, stunning natural surroundings, and a serene atmosphere that made it feel like a true escape. Everything was spotless and perfectly maintained, which made it incredibly comfortable from the moment I arrived. Our family of 6 adults had the best stay at the Villa - the beachfront aspect with swimming directly out front and in the pool was great. It is very remote - no nearby restaurants to walk to - the location is completely different to what it shows you if you click on show location in the airbnb map - it places the Villa to the north of Lovina dolphin tours behind Pepito supermarket, where we thought we could walk next door to a hotel for cocktails. A driver to take us there was $20-30, so bear that in mind. Once we rearranged our mindset, we had an exceptional experience - great for family bonding with meals and games around the long outside table. Komang the housekeeper was brilliant and cooked meals for us every night from a menu - something I didn’t know was available beforehand but was extremely grateful for when I discovered we weren’t next door to the above mentioned supermarket or hotel restaurants. She also arranged for 2 massage ladies to come daily - brilliant!

Absolutely stunning place in a beautiful rice field. Not accessible by car but by scooter. The staff will help with the bags from the main road to the villa. Also had breakfast included. Loved the experience.

We had a truly amazing 3-night stay at Mahajiva. The bamboo villa is completely private and surrounded by lush jungle—pure serenity. The pool has a beautiful forest view, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They stayed in touch throughout our stay, brought Grab orders straight to our villa, arranged in-room massages, and kept everything clean and bug-free—even though the villa is open to nature, we were never bothered by insects. A special thank you to Elsya for taking such good care of us—she even brought us raincoats so we could enjoy the outdoors during the rain! If you're looking for a peaceful, private, and unforgettable stay in Bali, I highly recommend Mahajiva. I’ll definitely stay longer next time I visit.

A true hidden gem 💎, Amazing private place, super clean and so beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay and we will book again. Friendly staff and the breakfast was really good. We enjoyed every single moment there. They do regularly pest control which is remarkable and during our stay we didn't encounter any insects like other places. Loved all the details ! 10/10

This super villa gave us a great experience! The value for money is perfect and the rooms are great. There was good contact and all questions were answered right away. Also, breakfast was arranged which I did not know about so this was more positive. Quiet and close to the beach location.

Loved our stay at this villa! It’s in a super local area, which gave the whole trip a more authentic feel. The place is beautifully designed, and the big bathtub was such a nice touch. The pool is gorgeous too, and we especially enjoyed the little riverside deck just a short walk from the yard—so chill and peaceful. The bed was super comfy, and everything was really clean and well taken care of. Would definitely come back!

This property is stunning!! I loved the neighbourhood, so peaceful and still close to everything you could need. The property is well looked after, with regular cleaning and a very local cafe that delivers to your door, so you can stay totally stress free. I felt super taken care of, and well provided for. Sara and Arjen are so responsive and there’s always someone available to answer any questions or recommendation requests. Honestly everything I needed was so quick to be provided. I would stay here forever if I could. It feels so private and the bonus of the jungle view from the pool is extra special. Beds are comfy (master bedroom bed is HUGE), plenty of storage, and the house has so much natural light. My happiness and health have increased 10 fold since being in Bali at Villa Zamaya

The villa is beautiful!! The location is in perfect walking distance to the beach and there are great restaurants in the area. The villa was clean and the pool was magnificent!

Communication with the accommodation was flawless. Transfer from the airport and to activities was also available. The furniture and furnishings were a bit outdated and worn. Due to the proximity to the boy and the street, it was sometimes a bit louder. Unfortunately, the supermarket could not be reached on foot. Nevertheless, it was a great stay with great communication and nice people.

This was our second time staying at Villa Lunara, and we returned because we absolutely love Pererenan—its amazing restaurants, beautiful beaches, lively beach clubs, and great shopping. The villa itself is a peaceful, luxurious retreat just minutes from all the action. The pool, spacious en suite bedroom and large living room are perfect to relax. Since our last visit, the ownership has changed, and we couldn’t be happier with the new team. Kartina and her staff were fantastic—always friendly, attentive, and quick to respond to any request. Their warm hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. Next time we visit Pererenan, there’s no question—we’ll be coming back to Villa Lunara!

If you're looking for a peaceful, clean, and beautifully hosted stay, this is the place.

Wow, this place is so special. I moved here from their other listing (Balian River Hut) because I loved it so much and didn’t book for as long as I would have stayed. So I opted over next door and this place is equally magical and quite different. It’s nice to have a full fridge and the garden out front between you and the river is SO stunning. There are red hibiscus and plumerias and so many different beautiful plants. The tub out front on the deck is magical. This beds here don’t have mosquito nets but I didn’t need them because I just kept the bedroom doors closed during the day. The support from the hosts and everybody they hire are so kind and enjoyable to see each day. I felt so tended to by Komang and the land. I rarely see anyone but maybe 1 or 2 people coming to bathe in the river at sunset every so often. It feels really peaceful, safe and nourishing. I almost never left the property I was on and I could easily live here for months. I highly recommend.

Putu and Lilik have been super helpful! I was being a super procrastinator and only contacted them for airport pickup on the day before my flight, but they still kindly helped me to arrange a driver. The house was well maintained, and you could find all things you need. Nice for a vacation getaway!

We spent a day (much too short) in this wonderful villa with breathtaking ocean views… and the sound of the waves, absolute relaxation +++!!! Very welcoming and responsive host!! You can go there without a second thought. Recommends 1000%

I stayed 2 nights at sunshine villas alone and the place was perfect. Just what I needed, private pool, lounge area was great for the evenings. The hosts were great and very responsive whenever I needed to ask any questions about the area etc… It is a little remote, however was perfect for my stay due to attending a wedding at a local villa nearby. 100% would recommend to anyone who wants a place to stay just outside of Canggu. I was sad to leave!

Absolutely lovely villa in the Heart of Ubud Bali. Great open kitchen area that allows you to feel part of the outdoors and has all the needed amenities. The 2 enclosed bedroom villas were great for our privacy, and we're nicely temperature controlled with AC for the hot Bali temps. Awesome infinity pool that looked out into the jungle. The whole place was thoughtfully designed. Highly recommend

Great location tucked away from the bustle of Ubud, but still close. Lovely villa and pool, with the host being very responsive and helpful with all requests. Would definitely return.
