The cabin is located by Heivannet with child-friendly beach and close to restaurant Solvika. Here you have a great starting point for an active cabin life, with good hiking opportunities nearby, cross country skiing in winter time and a lot of coziness in the water with a kayak or boat in summer time. It takes about 20 minutes to drive to Høyt&Lavt Vestfold climbing park. The cabin has a new, well-equipped open plan kitchen with living room.

Welcome to the Gåsvannshytta, a hidden gem only 30 min from Kragerø. The cabin is peacefully on a toll road, so you can be by yourself. Bring drinking water (20l drinking water is at the cabin), Refrigerator, freezer and stove on gas. Lighting and charging options through 12v photovoltaic systems. Fireplace with free wood. Boat is included, but bring your own life jackets. Free fishing for trout and perch. Good opportunities for berry and mushroom smoking. The cabin must be cleaned upon departure. The cabin is located about 2.5 hours from Oslo, about 1h and 45min from Kristiansand Zoo, 30 minutes from Kragerø and 45 minutes from Porsgrunn. You will have your own fenced area with small terraces, wood-fired hottub and outdoor shower close to nature and wildlife. No electricity,but the possibility to charge equipment. Cold outside water in a tap outside the cabin.Outdoor kitchen for simple cooking. The cabin has a room with two single beds and an upper bunk intended for children. Outside with a view. On the farm we have cattle, horses,dogs and a cat.
