Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ballston Spa

We had a great time staying at L.J’s place. Our children loved app that there was to do and we took daily walks down to the frozen lake. Lots of fun sledding and relaxing!

Where do I begin... I've stayed at numerous Airbnb properties, but this one stands out as one of the most beautiful settings I've encountered. The views of the lake are breathtaking, and having direct access to it was a huge bonus. We made full use of the canoes and kayaks provided, enjoying them every day. My husband, an avid fisherman, was thrilled with the lake, calling it one of the best freshwater fishing spots he's ever visited. The grounds are impeccably maintained and offer plenty of privacy. Inside, the house is both comfortable and well-appointed. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the pots, pans, utensils, and small appliances you could need. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the linens are of high quality. The furniture is tasteful and inviting. Karen was a wonderful host, easy to communicate with and responsive. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. I would return in a heartbeat and recommend this place without hesitation.

The house and especially the location was wonderful. Very quiet surroundings and great nature. Contacting the very nice hosts was easy and uncomplicated. We found the house as it was described in the advertisement. The furnishings also left nothing to be desired. All in all, it was a lovely stay and we would want to request the house again at any time if we come back to this beautiful area.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful 3-bedroom, 2-bath home on Saratoga Lake! The house was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was definitely the dock—it made fishing right from the property incredibly easy and fun. Vicki and John were wonderful hosts—super responsive and available for any questions we had throughout our stay. Their hospitality really made us feel at home. We’re already looking forward to coming back and making more great memories. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful lakefront escape in the Saratoga area.

We had a great time during our stay! The indoor pool was the real highlight—clean, well-maintained, and the surround sound music made it extra fun. The entire property was spotless and clearly well cared for. We even enjoyed S’mores at the outdoor fire pit. Chantale and Toni were incredibly accommodating and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Highly recommend for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway!

Doug and Amy's place is beautifully maintained and full of charm. I loved being in a 1880's home with all the original wood work and beautiful wall paper with fresh paint and modern comfort - we were warm and it was only 16 degrees outside. The place is very clean too (and I'm a clean freak)! Doug and Amy are very friendly, we enjoyed meeting them. I would definitely return to this beautiful home.

We loved how quiet and peaceful the location was. We also loved the homey touches- the local books, the honor store out back, the fact that there was the cafe under the apartment. The setting was beautiful and we loved falling asleep to the sound of the brook and the spring peepers!

The Yellow Door Inn was exactly what I needed for my little getaway from the craziness of my life!! You are surrounded by art, and comfort that is difficult to find. I felt at peace the moment I arrived and my doggos also loved the large yard and access to the Salem Art Works!! Klara and Greg are great hosts, they responded very quickly and were so so kind to me during my stay. If you are staying in Salem, I would 1000% recommend the Yellow Door Inn. You will not regret it! I know I will most definitely be back next time I stay in the area. It was hard for me to leave and head back home, because I felt I was already home…

Leo and Michelle were very responsive with any questions we had, and even reached out to offer us an early check in. The location was close enough to our places of interest, while still being slightly rural. The place looked just like the pictures and we felt right at home. We will stay there again when we return!

We had an excellent stay at Jills. The space was very clean and well equipped with everything needed. The Hot tub was very enjoyable. Jill was a wonderful host and went above and beyond to assure our stay was great!

A pinball lover’s dream! This Airbnb is full of quirky charm and rare titles you won’t find just anywhere—perfect for enthusiasts and collectors alike. The games played great, the decor was packed with personality, and the vibe was peaceful yet fun. Quiet, quaint location with a few great walkable restaurant options nearby. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and respectful of our space. We’d absolutely stay again!

The house is spacious and has four bedrooms, which really hosts a large family. It is very clean when checking in. Some amenities and utilities have age but they are super well maintained. I highly recommend this place if you just would like to have a stay when traveling in upper NY.

We found that the place was exactly as described. Everything was very good. We loved your recliners out on the back, looking out the sliding glass doors overlooking the lake. It was very peaceful calm. We were able to get one fire in on Friday night. At the campfire was so peaceful and quiet and serene. Looking across the lake at the cabins with their lights on was just a beautiful relaxing time. We want to thank Barry and Shirley very much and I’m about 99% sure that we will be back again. Thanks again.

Everything is convenient and thoughtfully arranged — from the cozy fireplace to the overall peaceful atmosphere. The place feels both comfortable and private. I’ve already recommended it to my friends and would love to come back again. Truly a perfect getaway in nature!

A really awesome place, ideal for relaxing and get energized without external distractions ! Limited network depending on your carrier, which was exactly what we were looking for! A bit chilly in mid October - as advertised - but Pam made everything to make sure we were comfortable ! I am pretty sure I will come back! Our second time staying! We absolutely love it here, everything meets your expectations and beyond. Kristina is so easy to communicate with, helpful and overall amazing. We caught lots of fish off the kayaks, nd enjoyed smores by the fire - we are already planning our return back for next year!

Everything was amazing from how clean and stocked the house was to the beautiful view. Very cozy and peaceful it’s definitely what I was hoping for when looking for something to get away from all the city noise. Marilyn was also extremely helpful and responds in a timely manner. Wow! We had an amazing stay at Ashley’s Airbnb this past week. The house was extremely clean and charming. It was perfect for our family and dogs. It’s only a 3 minute commute to downtown and 5 minute from million dollar beach, which is perfect for when you are traveling with dogs and little ones. The backyard is so calm and serene. This was the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed at. The mattresses are extremely comfortable and the blackout curtains are an added bonus. They provide the propane for the grill and firewood, which are just a few less items to worry about bringing. We have already booked our stay for next summer. You can’t beat the combination of privacy and location.

The cabin was the perfect first destination for our New England trip!
