Holiday rentals with lake access in Ballstad

The place is just beautiful. On the other hand, note that we are opposite the main road (therefore, the arrivals and departures of the ferry are well marked with the passage of cars). It didn't bother us… It's an old house with its charm. With steep stairs with narrow steps. But you have everything you need. The beds are comfortable and the shower has a good water flow. You have grocery stores in RAMBERG and REINE. We found that the one in RAMBERG had more diversity than the other in REINE (the path is also less winding towards RAMBERG). You have to travel by car to see the sites, but everything is simply majestic. The roadsides are very narrow. Parking is paid next to tourist spots. You can have access to free parking but you will have more walking to do. It's really an ideal place because it's 25 minutes from the ferry. We recommend it to you

Nice cosy house in a quiet and peaceful village.

This was a win for us. So comfy, close to town, everything you could poss need including many hooks and places to put our things. And Kurt was above and beyond accommodating us when we misplaced the house key. Highly recommend this airbnb.

Stein-Ove and Marita are the best possible hosts, as they do their ultimate best to make sure that their guests have a phenomenal experience, in their fabulous house, in the unique environment of Lofoten. What stands out the most, from my view, is that the guests get the real experience of real life in such remote area of the world. This was my and my wife's intention, totally fulfilled beyond expectations, and we will never forget what we saw and how we felt. The house is situated in a magnificent location, between splendid mountains and coastline, and still easily accessible via a road where there is very little traffic, which ensure total peace. We felt what it means to have a family life in Lofoten, basically the experience cannot be more authentic, truly. Needless to say, the house was spotlessly clean and had all facilities to feel at home, e.g. we could use the kitchen to have a peaceful dinner overlooking the ocean. In brief, if you want the real experience, do book this house!

Rasmus’s cottage has a great location, is clean and tidy with a modern Nordic feel. A perfect place to experience Henningsvær and to use as a base to explore Lofoten! Highly recommend!

My favorite Airbnb EVER. So many of my recent Airbnb’s have been total let down, but not Monica’s place, it was absolutely perfect. Tucked away, peaceful, private, the most beautiful surroundings, it was like out of a dream. Not to mentioned the house was well equipped with everything we needed and Monica was a fantastic, kind, and responsive host. It was the perfect way to spend a few sunny and rainy days in lofoten. I cannot recommend this place enough. We will be back without a doubt. Thank you for everything!

This house accommodation in Lofoten was absolutely wonderful! We stayed there for three nights and fell in love with the place immediately. The location was stunning: on one side, you had a beautiful view of the sea, and on the other, majestic mountains. Standing in the yard, you could hear the gentle sound of a stream, which made the atmosphere so peaceful and idyllic. The house itself was a charming blend of traditional rustic style and modern comfort. We felt at home right away and even started calling it our ‘home’ for the trip. Evenings were spent cozily on the sofa, enjoying Netflix, and the kitchen was fully equipped, making cooking a joy. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating — even allowing us to extend our stay slightly. It was so comfortable that we would have gladly stayed for the entire vacation if it hadn’t already been booked. The five of us had a great time in Eggum. The location directly between the lake and the sea is fantastic. And quiet... really relaxing. The house is superbly furnished, the relatively new bathroom delighted everyone. The large dining table overlooking the sea was our beloved centre in the house for eating together, planning routes and game nights. Check-in with code on the key box very flexible. Shopping in 15 minutes by car, Leknes Airport plus 5 minutes further. Starting point for many great destinations in Lofoten. After our hikes and the unforgettable whale safari, we were always very happy to return to the green house. Saying goodbye after 5 nights was very difficult for us... Initially, we wanted a larger saucepan. Lars reacted brilliantly. After our hike, a whole brand new pot set was in front of the door. That was great! We definitely got the highest score for accommodation and care. Tusen takk, Lars!

We stayed here with our young daughter to explore the islands and we were blown away by the beauty of this spot. It was such a comfortable and peaceful stay and I would 10/10 recommend it.

Really impressed. Worth the money!

I had a great time during my stay at this appartement. It had everything I needed and looked like on the pictures. There is so much to do in the area and it was a great base to explore the islands of Lofoten. Verner and Katrine were really nice and answered alsways quite quickly. I would love to come back soon.

I've been using Airbnb for over a decade and have stayed at dozens of places. I've never once written a review however, but I'm making a point of it this time because of how exceptional Kristi and Marit were as hosts. My wife and I were traveling with our two daughters and Kristi and Marit took to them immediately, bringing them freshly baked cinnamon buns and cake that was left after Kristi's birthday. I had many questions during our time in Reine and they proactively answered all of them. Kristi even found me at the coffee shop when I'd forgotten my jacket, somehow knowing I would need it and where I'd be. They treated us like old friends coming to stay. My wife and I are both Airbnb enthusiasts. We've stayed at many incredible places over the years, including many more expensive and fancier than this. Neither of us have ever encountered such warmth, generosity, and thoughtfulness. PS. I haven't even mentioned the views here, but they are also probably the best I've ever seen.

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is very modern but still very cozy. It also has parking and is close to the supermarket. It has a beautiful view. The host was very helpful and responds quick to any questions.

This is a beautiful secluded house that fronts onto spectacular scenery. We stayed 2 nights and we didn’t want for anything. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights from the deck at the waters edge - quite magical. Olga was charming and very welcoming.

Very nice little house overlooking the sea and the surrounding mountains. Pretty wrapped area but perfect for hiking and spending some quiet days. It is very bright and in good weather, the rays of sunshine seem wonderful through the windows. Hike to the mountain Skårvågfiellet is highly recommended (e.g. at midnight sun + beautiful views).

I had a wonderful stay in this cozy cottage in Lofoten! The accommodation is very clean, well equipped. I particularly liked the quiet location and the view of the surrounding mountains. A perfect place for hiking either in the immediate vicinity or by car on the island. The kitchen is fully equipped and modern. I highly recommend this place and would come back anytime. Super location and exactly as described. We really enjoyed all the amenities, the surroundings and the wildlife around the house such as various bird species. The house has beautiful and fun old accents and accessories that we really found to be an added value. The hot tub was great and super place. Incredibly beautiful and charming house out on Olenilsøya. Bus stop right outside, good fish restaurant (Anitas sjömat) just across the road and incredible views from all the windows you looked out of. Worked well to share kitchen and bathroom with the other guests. We fell in love and would love to come back.

The house is as described, in the kitchen everything you need is also available, and more. The view, especially from the whirlpool, is indescribable and cannot be captured in pictures. Fishing success guaranteed (cod, halibut, pollack, etc.) The landlord is very nice and quick to reach if you have any questions. A really pleasant contact. We will be happy to come back 🙂

Rachel is a perfect host and makes you feel welcome in her space immediately. She makes amazing breakfast! And she even let us use her sea kayaks and gear to go explore the peaceful fjord. Apart from the weather, everything was impeccable, though the rain and cold winds made the stay all the more cozy.

We had a great time and can only recommend this place.
