The popular Hauklandstranda is about 15 minutes from the rorbua. Leknes town, airport and hurtigruten ferry a short distance from the cabin. If you want to try your luck in the rich fishing waters of Vestfjorden, boat rental is possible. In the months Jan-April the famous Lofot fishing is ongoing, and you can experience this fishing at Ballstad, which is one of Lofoten's largest and most abundant fishing village.

It is located at the end of the road and therefore there is no car traffic past the cabin! Here you can enjoy the tranquility and the view, with sun from morning to night🌞 Good opportunities for hiking nearby, or try your luck at fishing. Hjellebua - Stamsund, in the heart of Lofoten

Cozy and modern seaside cabin in the fishing village Stamsund. Many hiking opportunities, alpine facilities and light slopes in the immediate vicinity. Two supermarkets in walking distance, one of which is open on Sunday, as well as gas station. In Stamsund you will find cozy cafes, yoga center and several art galleries. Stamsund is located in the middle of Lofoten. Leknes is 10-15 minutes away. One hour drive north is Svolvær and an hour and a half south is Reine/Moskenes. Short distance to the popular beaches Haukland, Uttakleiv and Unstad.
