This spacious, stylish place to stay is perfect for a couple's tranquil retreat or a friends relaxing/action packed getaway. There are plenty beautiful , scenic hills & mountains to climb & we are 5 mins away from Lough Mask. We have a great parkland golf club & racecourse nearby. It is also ideal for a couple with a child aged 3-18 yrs as 2nd bed is a sofa bed in liv room. Please inform me in advance of your stay if you wish to have sofa bed made up as a bed. In the year 0f 1898, this lovely cottage was built to be the Teachers residence to the local School. Throughout the years it has been a very happy home to all who lived here. It is set in large gardens . Perfectly peaceful, with access to quiet walks. Sitting out listening to the resident owl, or the early morning bird song, magic. We are a few miles from the beautiful Lough Carra, and within a half hour of Cong, Lough Mask , Lough Corrib, the gateway to Connemara. Come enjoy the peace.
