Our place is only 4.6km from the Dublin/Westport train line and close to Knock & Shannon airports (31km & 135km). Located only 4.7km from the local town Claremorris, which has boutiques, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, & great sports facilities (tennis, equestrian, gym and indoor pool, athletics track, etc). A good base for visitors who wish to explore Connemara & the West of Ireland while still feeling the comfort of home. Suitable for couples, adventurers, business travellers, and families.

Newly refurbished home, situated close to N17 with a spacious enclosed garden and yard. An ideal location to use as a base for the wild Atlantic way with Galway, Westport, Sligo less than an hours drive away. 15 km to Knock airport, 3 km to knock, 2 to Claremorris. The house offers 2 living areas, spacious kitchen\dining room, 3 beds, 2 bath. The house offers a mix of modern and traditional features, with fully equipped kitchen, wood burner, oil central heating, WiFi and modern amenities.

Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

You can walk to the sea in just under one minute while unwinding in our sauna after. Castlebar is the ideal location with plenty of choice variety to choose from .We are located a short walking distance from Mayo University Hospital. Ideally located for the Royal Theatre Castlebar. Public Carpark right across the road from the apartment.€4 a day . You can put money in after 6 for the next morning.
