Cottage holiday rentals in Balingup

We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing 5 day stay with our kids and dog. Beautiful, private and peaceful setting. We enjoyed the walking paths, hard to believe there were other cottages nearby - so cleverly designed for maximum privacy. Nice and warm & cosy on our 1 wet day, listening to the rain through the trees. We also get much appreciated taking the kayaks & canoe out on the lake. The information kiosk was a fun daily activity for the kids to change DVDs. Highly recommended staying here, comfy and impeccably clean. We'll definitely be back!

Venessa and Coralie always responded quickly, clearly and in a friendly manner. Our family had a lovely time at their beautiful property where it was very clean and cozy. Everything has a nice touch so you feel special, comfortable and away from the city life.

What a divine stay amongst this beautiful property! By far the most beautiful and serene stay we have had in the South West. Perfect for the dogs to run around during the day and explore the the karri and peppy tree forest. We will be back! 😊

We booked 5 nights at Harmony Forest and it wasn't quite enough so booked an extra night on our last day. The accommodation was beautiful. The surroundings are stunning. The wildlife keeps you guessing everytime you are out and about on what you will see when you move around the spacious grounds. We packed the kids bikes and they were able to ride around and explore. I highly recommend staying here for families or just people wanting a beautiful escape in nature. It's on our top list of favourite places and we will definitely be back 😊

Second time we have stayed here. Love the secluded, private forest setting and that we can bring our dog with us. Having the pit fire on an evening is a highlight. We will be back again.

Gorgeous little cabin with beautiful surroundings bush. Many beautiful walks and evenings by the fireplace with local herbal tea. Close to Margaret River so easy to duck into town to cafes or restaurants etc.

We enjoyed our two night stay. A cosy fire was welcome in the cool evenings. Our Cavoodle loved the space to run around in. We somehow missed the memo that there was no TV, but there were plenty of book, puzzles and games to keep us entertained. Would recommend a stay there, was close to many local attractions! We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this property over the weekend! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The space was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. One of the biggest highlights was how pet-friendly it was — our two dogs had the best time exploring the secure yard and lounging around with us. It’s not always easy to find a place that genuinely welcomes pets, so this was such a bonus for us! The location was peaceful and perfect for unwinding, yet still close enough to local sights and conveniences. Our host was also incredibly helpful and communicative, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. We can’t recommend this place enough — whether you’re a couple looking for a quiet escape or traveling with furry companions, this spot ticks all the boxes. We’d love to come back again soon.

Two families had a great start in Margaret River. The house was clean and spacious, in beautiful green surroundings, close to the heart of Margaret River. Jacqui and Martin were friendly and responsive to our questions, and great hosts. Would highly recommend!

It was a very wet two days, but we felt snug and dried off quickly when returned. We were car touring, so not getting wet from car to house was appreciated!

We had a beautiful one night getaway at Banksia and wish we could have stayed longer! The villa makes for both a fantastic base to explore Margaret River and a clean, peaceful retreat of its own. Our toy cavoodle Daisy was very pleased she was able to join us too. Would definitely book again!

One of the best Airbnbs I have stayed in! We stayed for a weekend to soak up the autumn scenery and only wish it could’ve been longer. Mary-Ellen was super helpful and proactive - and her stylishly put together place had everything we needed and more touches of luxury than we’d expected. We spent mornings watching the various birds in the pretty backyard and nights star gazing from the private front yard. We brought noise cancelling headphones in case of late night noise but didn’t need them. It was so conveniently located for seeing sights around town. We will definitely be back!

We just had the most beautiful weekend here , such a special place with all the finer touches and details in place . Sitting on the deck with our dog ruby watching the kangaroos and the cosy log fire we’re the highlights . We would love to come back soon. Thank you

We had a lovely week in Balingup, it was so peaceful and beautiful.

Arriving during a cold and wet time, we were at first hesitant when we found out the place only has one toilet available and no covered garage, but the house really really grew on us the longer we stayed and as the weather warmed up. Just beautifully curated spaces, with generous coffee and tea selection, the kids toys were a big hit, rolling grassy area that was great for the kids, such comfortable beds that even come with warming pads. Location was tucked away in a private area but a short drive into town. I’ve shared this property to my friends looking for a beautiful getaway <3 only thing I’d say is maybe time to give the washing machine an upgrade? We had to standby as the machine just stopped working a number of times mid cycle - but that might be just us being fussy. Thank you for a great stay Rebecca!

Great location for touring Bunbury, Balingup, Bridgetown and Ferguson Valley and a comfortable stay at a competitive rate. Bonus was a surprise bonus basket of nibbles and soft drinks and a selection of local wines to replace with similar value if used.
