East Tawas Happy House W/Private Beach Access!

Come immerse yourself in the beauty of autumn as the leaves change colors by the lake. Our seasonal rates are now in effect. Come for a relaxing escape or an active adventure, with shopping, dining, hiking, or strolling along our private beach. Our cozy house accommodates up to 8 guests and is fully equipped with everything you need: a modern kitchen with appliances and utensils, extra towels and linens, smart TVs, board games, an outdoor fire pit, and a dining table perfect for cozy fall BBQs.

Fun at the Beach Private Home

A 1940's cottage right in the heart of quaint downtown East Tawas. East Tawas is located on Michigan’s Sunrise Side. The area is well known for its sparkling turquoise waters and clean public sandy beaches. Just two blocks to Newman St and you can enjoy local shopping and dining or the ice cream and chocolate shops, and the 1935 historic movie theater. Bring your boat and enjoy Lake Huron or catch some fish for dinner. Kayaks and canoes can be put in at various spots along the Au Sable River.

Patti's Getaway

If you are looking for a comfortable yet exciting vacation spot, Patti's Getaway is your place. In 2018, Patti's Getaway has been remodeled. Our home is about 6 blocks from Lake Huron and just minutes to downtown shopping, restaurants, beaches, parks, boat launches and more. Patti's Getaway is only: about 8 miles from Tawas Point State Park (good place to bird watch) , about 12 miles from Corsair Trails, about 15 miles form Iargo Springs and Lumbermen's Memorial, just to name a few places.

Family Fun Spacious inside & outside

Room for the whole family with three large bedrooms w/queen size beds and additional trundle beds.. Comfortable living room has a gas fireplace and attached game room with a card table and air hockey table. Outside has a private backyard patio, firepit, pond and plenty of wildlife… and less then five minutes from Lake Huron’s beaches and boat launches. Use of a heated in-ground fenced-in pool memorial day to labor day is not guaranteed. Pet friendly with an additional fee upon approval.

This place is our home: She is well worn with memories of guests past, and open to help create new ones with you. Catamaran Cottage is located in Anchorage Cottages & Retreat Center on the sandy shores of the Great Lake Huron. It is 1 of 6 cottages on the property. This rustic cabin is fully furnished and has shared beachfront a few feet away from your door. Picnic tables, firepits, a charcoal grill and beach furniture help round out your quintessential Up North experience here in Oscoda.

This is a smoke free/pet free property. No large gatherings or parties allowed. Although we are not located on the beach, we are 2 blocks from the lake and 4-7 blocks from the beach. When staying at our place you are a 7 minute drive to Tawas Point State Park, 19 minutes from Lumberman's Monument/National Forest, and 14 minutes from Red Hawk Golf Course. Also a short distance from canoeing, kayaking, bike trails & hiking. Plentiful shops restaurants and bars to enjoy. #STR-010

True bliss awaits you at this peaceful and centrally-located cozy cottage. Walking distance to public beach, pier and shops, as well as a lazy river where you can rent kayaks to paddle your way down stream to Tawas Bay in Lake Huron and back. Lots of outdoor space for relaxing by the fire pit or eating on the raised back patio. Quiet neighborhood is perfect for walks, bike rides and just enjoying the sounds of nature. Relax or play, this cottage is perfect for your mood.

If your looking for a private oasis this is your place! We are on a private road, few neighbors, full time residents. We hope you appreciate the aesthetics and solitude. Our cabin has been in our family over 40 years, this is our first time hosting our beloved home. We hope you find it charming, comforting and a place to build beautiful memories. 🔥🔥RIGHT BY THE LAKE!!! 🔥🔥 Enjoy being downtown and walking to the beach. Enjoy walking to the coffee shop or walking to the bar for an adult beverage. Walk to Dairy Queen or walk to Furtaw Field where there are weekend festivities! You can take a short drive down River Road to see Champagne Hill or The Lumber-mans Monument, and a variety of sights. Ride down the beautiful ATV trails nearby or rent a boat or kayak. So much fun and so much to do!
