This small cabin has recently been re-built with new pine paneled walls and ceiling, bunk beds, carpeting, electricity, a new Eco-outhouse!, solar shower and It is located at the edge of a field about 100 yards from our home. It is a perfect base camp for hikers 12 miles south of Franconia notch trail heads and Appalachian Trail crossing. The cabin is most often used by hikers who want a base camp near many of the most popular hiking trails near Franconia Notch. It is a peaceful and quiet place.

My husband and I stayed at Jolene’s place with our dog and we absolutely loved it. Jolene was very nice and messaged us a few times to make sure we were okay and if we needed anything. The bed was super comfy and the inside was clean with clear instructions. We also loved all the little touches such as the tiki torches outside, rock painting supplies, games, etc. we will definitely book this place again.

Stinson Lake cabin

It was a wonderful place for our family group to stay. It’s close to exciting hiking opportunities in the White Mountains. People climbed Mt Stinson, Moosilauke, and Lafayette. We used the paddle board and the double kayak to explore the lake. Went swimming every day. So many great seating options. Hammocks, lounge chairs, Adirondack chairs, table and chairs down by the water. Many more seating alternatives up at the house. There is a terrific view from the beach and from the porch. We did a lot of cooking; the kitchen is really well equipped. We ate on the porch every night because the weather was so perfect. But there’s a dining room table and barstools inside as well.

My friend and I needed a night to escape traffic & the busy life. We had such a great experience here! It's in a great location, walking distance to the river. Super close to the covered bridge and waterfall. The rooms are clean and adorable, the yard is comfortable and the hot tub was perfection! We will be here again!

We stayed at David & Diane’s AirBnB for a weekend. The place is so much more than what is shown in the pictures. It was squeaky clean throughout the house. There were local hikes recommendations with a detailed explanation on what to expect for each hike which helped us plan our two days in the area. Diane came to greet us and had a lovely conversation. Parking was ample and easy to find. There’s a fire pit in the easily accessible backyard and it’s by a river. Would definitely visit again when we re in the area.
