It is not known which year the house was built but its antique oak beams throughout the building date from at least early 1600's. Tall ceilings offer a spacious and airy yet very cosy space across three floors. The courtyard has a lunch/dining area as well as a lounge area under roof by the open fire place - you have private access to this tranquil and magical space. The cottage consists of a garage, an entrance, a dining room with equipped kitchen, a bathroom with bathtub, sink and toilet, 2 bedrooms and a mezzanine landing. The cottage is in the heart of the village of Le Chesne overlooking the Canal des Ardennes. The village offers all the basic amenities (shops, doctors, restaurant, etc.). Lake Bairon is 3 km away. In summer, swimming is supervised.

Charming Shade Hut

The Cabane à l'Ombre des Charmes is a 45m² cabin set in 2000m² of private grounds planted with trees. It sleeps 2 adults and 2 children on a sofa bed. On the large terrace, you'll find the Nordic bath with wood-fired heating, as well as the sauna right next door. A barbecue kota is available for your packed lunches. In the cabin, you'll find a lounge area, a kitchen area, traditional toilets and a bathing area with an island bath.

Theodora's Cabin

Nichée à flanc de colline, la Cabane de Theodora offre une vue spectaculaire sur la forêt. Son architecture unique relie deux volumes autour d’un espace central baigné de lumière. Le lit se cache sous la charpente, accessible par un escalier. Un grand bain en bois trône dans un bow window, et un couloir secret mène à une vasque féerique. Terrasse ensoleillée, feu de bois et coin repas complètent cette expérience magique.
