Kasturi’s studio is one of the cleanest and coziest places I’ve stayed. It’s a great value for its Menlo Park location. The space is thoughtfully stocked with everything I needed, coffee, bathroom, fridge, microwave. Great hotel, nice facilities: pool, hot tub, sauna, gym (don't forget to pack swimming suit!) One thing I didn't enjoy is the view from the window, it was a construction site. I was also woken up at 5 am by construction workers, which made over experience not-quite-perfect for me.

I stayed for six weeks while visiting Stanford. This is a great place, in a quiet neighbourhood. Tammy is an excellent host, who fed me more times than I can count and was always very friendly, helpful and responsive in case of any issues. There is convenient access to Stanford, the airport and San Francisco by train (a 10-minute walk away). The room was cleaned once every two weeks. You have full access to the (huge!) kitchen and all facilities in it. The only thing I would note is that there is minimal soundproofing, so you might be disturbed by other guests. There is a quiet rule after 23:00 for this reason :)
