Holiday rentals with a patio in Badin Lake

If I could give our stay 10 stars I would! Mia was the perfect host, and the space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we need. We stayed overnight during a weekend trip to the zoo. Mia was accommodating to an early check-in so our toddlers could get a decent nap. The space is only 15 minute drive from the zoo and walking distance to the downtown area. We ate at the Flying Pig (highly recommend), visited Four Saints Brewing, and let our girls run aroudn in Bicentennial Park. When we came home, we realized we had locked ourselves out. Mia was responsive and had someone at the house in 15 minutes to help us out! I appreciated the adorable coffee bar in the morning before we headed out. This rental is absolutely worth every penny, in accommodations, location, but especially because of the host! Thank you again, we look forward to coming back!

The place was perfect for two people, very convenient location for us to visit family in the area. Bed was super comfy, shower pressure was great and hot.

Jane was wonderful to communicate with. Our stay was amazing, and she was very accommodating to our needs or requests even prior to booking. She had everything you need, plenty of sleep space, and CLEAN! If you need a nice peaceful weekend getaway, dont hesitate to book!

We will stay here again and again! Sharon’s location is perfect for us and is only a short drive to our brother’s home. Surroundings are beautiful and peaceful and the house is well equipped for our needs.. Thank you again Sharon and we hope to see you again!

Our stay was fantastic. The host was very accommodating and it was SAFE most of all!!! If you want a home away from home this place is your choice.

Our stay was the perfect space for us to rest and relax while we were visiting our family. Despite being June the weather was a little too chilly to enjoy swimming. My favorite morning and evening spot was in the porch swing by the pool. There are friendly hosts and then there are Jill and her family. They were so gracious and made sure we had everything we needed. Quick to answer any questions but ensured we had our privacy too. We have never enjoyed our hosts as much as the brief time we spent chatting with Jill and her husband. There are lots of books, board games, and little amenities like a towel warmer in the bathroom. We had coffee for our mornings and bottled water already in the refrigerator when we arrived- nice after a long drive. We were gone most of the day but arriving at night and having the pool area lit up was so inviting. When we find our way back to the area we hope to find her property available so we can stay again.

We had stayed here previously. This time we found it to be just as nice as the first time. The place was clean and comfortable and the fact that the local restaurants & brewery are walkable is fantastic. We will be back next year.

Jessica and Connor were great hosts! The place was very comfortable and we made ourselves at “home” there.

We stayed here for a youth state shooting tournament . The boys wanted to fish more than go to the tournament! It’s a safe community with a pond in the back and close access to the lake! We enjoyed it!

We had a fun time and wished we could stay longer. Greg’s home is really clean and has fun games and a well-stocked kitchen. We would love to come again.

This is our 3rd time staying at High Rock Lake, we’ve bounced around and this was one of the best spots to stay! First we were stoked about an early check in, that was 1 extra hour we got to spend on vacation!! The house was very clean and was well put together. It came with lots of special touches like a dog kennel, bowls and a mat; separate towels for the lake, and black washcloths for make up’d faces. The screened in porch was our favorite spot and we spent a lot of time there! The kitchen was stocked with all of the appliances you could possibly want and plenty of cookware. We had a small issue upon arrival (out of everyone’s control) and our hosts were quick to respond and resolve and it was much appreciated! We really enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock - it was nice there were so many chairs and it made it easy to enjoy multiple spaces. If you’re looking for a great getaway, this is the spot!

We loved this house! It felt brand new, it was super clean, well stocked and all the beds were comfortable. We’ve always dreamed of having a lake house of our own and this place just further intensified that vision! It felt SO quiet and private. I’ve stayed on other areas of HRL that felt much more congested with noisy neighbors where you are forced to hear someone else’s playlist all day. You won’t feel that here! The swimming right off the dock was so good. We rented a pontoon boat with a tube and pulled our teenage girls around for hours! The game room was perfect for when we got some afternoon rain. I’d definitely stay here again. Heather was very communicative. Check in/out was easy. I’m sure this is mentioned in the listing but it’s not a good place for anyone with mobility issues (lots of steep inclines to walk up). Though, we met our stair goals each day and are heading home with stronger calves!

We loved our stay here and would definitely come back!

Adorable home with a beautiful view of the lake. The screen porch was lovely and where we spent most of our time at the house. We grilled two of the three evenings and went into nearby Albemarle one night for dinner. Neighborhood is quiet and neighbors were very nice. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Please keep in mind, if you are bringing a boat, make sure you bring a 4-wheel drive vehicle as the driveway is very steep, and we had to park in the gravel at the top of the hill.

We needed a place to stay for our family of 7 as we journeyed from Ohio to the beach. This was a far better option than trying to find hotel rooms. It was comfortable, clean, lots of room for boys to play, and they loved the four-legged greeter Rocko!

Came in for Nascar weekend this was our 2nd stay we were so happy the 1st time we decided to stay again and just like the first time we enjoyed the place felt just like home highly recommended.

I was extremely pleased with the apartment. It was clean and quaint. I felt safe and comfortable knowing there was a door man. The apartment was clean and lend itself to choice of eating in or dinning out. The bedrooms were equipped with 1 king and 2 queens which worked out great for me being 6 “ 1. There was ample amount of parking making it very stress free. I truly enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to my friends when they visit the area.

It was very clean and everything was in order. It was a quiet and safe stay. The area is clean and all the shops and supermarkets are nearby.

Nice Apartment in a quite area not to far from all the fun spots in charlotte host response back very quick and nice if you looking for a home in charlotte this is the place to be ‼️

Amazing home! My wife and I came for a week long stay in Charlotte and this apartment was a great place to call home for our time there. The decor in the home is beautiful and looks just like the pictures. The complex may catch you off guard, but it was completely safe and we had no trouble during our stay. Peggy goes above and beyond as a host to make you feel welcomed! Would definitely book with her again when we come back to Charlotte.
