The area is ideal for hiking, biking or relaxing in nature. The apartment is part of a small farm (Icelandic horses and sheep) about 4km outside of Gersbach in the south of the Black Forest. Charming private room in a farmhouse

Our farmhouse is situated at the famous black forest western hiking trail and on a hill with views overlooking three countries. Our guest room offers a small kitchen unit with a fridge where our guests can prepare breakfast and cold meals. There is no water supply in the bedroom but in the spacious bathroom opposite. You can find restaurants from vegan, traditional to haute cusine within a less than a mile. There are buses to Basel, Lörrach and Kandern. By car it takes 20 minutes to Basel.

From here you have an ideal starting point for many sports activities, to explore the diverse cultural and culinary highlights of the region, or simply escape everyday life. Children and pets are of course also welcome.

Quiet and cozy apartment in the beautiful Schopfheim on the edge of the Southern Black Forest. Perfect starting point for extensive hiking or cycling. The nearest S-Bahn station can be reached in just 250m to take city tours to Basel or Freiburg. A supermarket is only 450m away. Parking included, (covered and monitored opposite the apartment). Pets allowed by reservation only and against financial participation (flat rate €20).
