Vacation home in the Black Forest by the lake "Backhäusle"

In the "Backhäusle" (bakery), the grain was formerly processed and bread was baked in a wood-burning stove. For a long time, the house on our pond was no longer given any importance, but now it shines as a vacation home in new splendor and still reminds us of days gone by. It is located a little off the beaten path from our Schwarzwaldhof and the other farm buildings. Our farm also includes our dairy cows, which are kept together with a friendly family. The stable is also located separately.

Ideal starting point for hikes, bike rides and excursion destinations in the Black Forest, Lake Constance and Switzerland. You can spend cozy hours under old apple trees at the garden house. Coffee pads and tea bags are provided free of charge.

Relax with the whole family or friends at this peaceful place to stay. Nestled between the Black Forest and the Swabian Alps, this country house is detached at the end of a small village in the Rottweil area. Attractions such as the Thyssen Tower (6 km), Hohenzollern Castle (28 km), Lake Constance approx. 50 minutes or the 8-thousanders of the Swabian Alps offer many leisure activities alone by mountain bike or with the whole family and friends.

Our renovated apartment is lovingly furnished and covers approx. 65 sqm. It is on the 1st floor of our house, in a quiet residential area. It has 2 bedrooms with double beds (1x190/200; 1x140/200), living-dining area, kitchen (fully equipped), shower, toilet, balcony, satellite TV, music system, WiFi, cot and high chair. Parking is nearby. PLEASE NOTE: If two guests occupy both bedrooms, we charge an additional surcharge of €12 per night.

The proximity to the Wutach Gorge, the Schluchsee, Feldberg (winter sports) and Switzerland make it the starting point for numerous activities. The house also has a large garden that guests can partially use (barbecue area). As hosts, we live one house away and are here to help you during your stay. Dogs are also welcome here, as we are also dog owners.
